I dont know abt it...
I just know tht 2nd Nikah with the same person of first Nikah after divorce is Not Allowed...Without doing Nikah with sumone else...U cant marry the same person...!!

Maybe it was just my confusion

From what I have found, a Nikkah done in secret/without parents is not acceptable.

I also found that at the time of Prophet SAW they didnt follow this Nikkah twice with the same person, but there is no evidence that its not allowed. Its just not recommended because people will think that the first Nikkah wasnt valid and they have been living in sin which is why they have to do the Nikkah again. So it was recommended to only do another Nikkah if the first one was incomplete/void.

So I guess in these circumstances its acceptable.

Nikah on Nikah is not prohibited however not a common practice in isllam. Basically I have never heard if same two people marrying each other over and over again for no real reason. However there are some practices of 2 nikahs. Like when people from two different sects get married for example if a Sunni Muslim Maryries a Shia Muslim they may have 2 nikahs to fulfil both traditions and make both families happy.

Further in case of women they have to wait for a period of abt 4 or 7 years in case they suspect that there husband has disappeared or abandoned them. In case of divorce or death or presumed sead they just have t wait for 4 months and 10 days to marry again u less they are pregnant. Nikah and divorce while the woma is pregnant is not valid.

Also if a couple gets divorced they cannot marry each othe again unless the woman Mary's someone else consumates the marriage and then divorces the other person.
