Was Drupadi's father really as callous as he is shown in this version of Mahabharat? How can any man wish so much ill treatment for his daughter?

it is one of those stupid tricks of the brainless cvs.
in truth drupad wanted a son to kill drona and a daughter to marry arjuna there by conquering his insult. yesterday whatever was shown about drupad was just s***t

yea thats just CVs making things more dramatic then they have to! If she had been ill-treated at her home, it would have been reflected in her later personality but it was not

the daughter was unexpected, but she was accepted with an open heart; the CVs are really making things too dramatic and distorted! But lets see what happens today
