A tribute to AsYa ~ A tragic end to a beautiful love story...
I stopped watching QH back in December, due to obvious reasons, but I did get to know about what happened in the show. Now AsYa, a couple we once loved to the core, are now going to be killed. For me AsYa was always AsYa, even though I stopped watching QH a long time back, I still loved my old AsYa and I still do. It hurt me a lot when I found out that AsYa were going to be killed, just like that. Mind you, right now, I seriously don't care about who the actor is, it's just AsYa and coming to think of it, we all love AsYa, here, regardless of who the 'As' part of the equation might belong to, so let's not get in to any fight here. We all love AsYa, so peace. :)
AsYa. A couple which had mind blowing chemistry and won our hearts before we knew it. From their little fights and bickering, to their intense and romantic moments. Their falls, eye locks, little gestures of thanks and the small things they would do for each other's happiness. Such little things made us fall in love with this amazing amazing couple. Zoya's, "Allah miyan! What's wrong with you?", which we all loved and Asad's, "Ammi, woh bechari nahi hai!", which never failed to amuse us. I'm sorry, I don't know much about what happened in the show after December, but I'm sure a lot of you are fans of the 2nd version of AsYa, too and maybe you love them just as much as we love the 1st AsYa. Their chemistry must have been magical to you and I'm not going to argue, 'cause I didn't watch the show after December.
I must say, QH had one of the most amazing and promising starts, probably one of the best ever in Indian television. A story which people fell in love with, at first sight. The story did deteriorate quite a lot, as the months passed, but still people loved AsYa. Regardless of how uninteresting the show got, people still watched, just for AsYa. For many of us, a day doesn't pass without thinking about them, it feels incomplete.
I still can't believe that they're ending AsYa, just like that. I never in my dreams thought that this is how they would end AsYa. I remember, reading a three shot/two shot on this forum, I think it was -Fizzi-'s work, I'm not sure. So basically, the story was how AsYa's daughter found out about AsYa's death. AsYa had died because of Tanveer, she'd stabbed Zoya and Asad had sacrificed himself along with her. I don't remember the exact story, I read it a long time back, but it was a beautifully penned story. I have knots in my stomach every time I think about it, it was an extremely emotional story. At that point of time, I couldn't even think about something like that happening in the show, but now, after knowing they're doing almost exactly the same in the show, I don't know what to say. I honestly have tears in my eyes, right now and not to mention, a huge lump in my throat. After December, I was like, "I don't care about this show any more, I don't give a damn about what they do with it." Well, now I know how wrong I was. It still hurts me a lot that this is how they're finishing AsYa. AsYa were one of the most magical and spelndid couples ever. It's so hard for me to accept that AsYa are going to be killed. I can close my eyes and say, AsYa are the only couple that people loved so much and at the same time, had such a heart wrenching end.
One last cheer for our beloved AsYa...
Jo kismat hai, use qubool karne ki himmat dena."
