The RRoadmap to Love

In today's delightful episode the CVs drew us up the roadmap to love. As per their checklist, you know you are on the right track when you:
# Feel Real Concern: You can't have love without real concern. Like we saw in Rudra's eyes and manner while he bandaged up Paro's cut. Peppered with "Are you okay?" "Is it hurting?" and refusal to let her near objets d' hurt. Even hurriedly thought-out excuses of his concern being fake in order to prevent Paro's cut from making the cut in the news, did not cut the mustard, when weighed against his grave voice and sombre demeanour.
# Need to Trap the Rat: Who's gnawing at the bonds between you and your love. Rudra used counterfeit notes as bait to trap Sumer, the rat, who'd put Rudra's job and life on the line with his greed, and driven a wedge between him and Paro. And had the joy of thumping him in the face and making him squeal.
# Fake the Rage: You need to fake the heat because you can't make yourself angry with the object of your affection. No matter how hard Rudra tried, today he couldn't work himself up into a convincing rage against Paro. There was no current reason to hate her so he fell back on well-worn excuses. She'd neither heard, nor understood, nor obeyed what he'd told her. Disagreed when he'd told her Tejawat was wrong. Disbelieved him when he'd told her her trans-border groom would have killed her. Disobeyed when he asked her to sign the confession. And dismissed his orders to leave when she proposed marriage in public.
Paid him no heed at all. Except for that one time he'd asked her to stand in the courtyard. And then she'd promptly heeded him and gone and stood like a stork on one leg. And therefore was at the root of all his trouble. Rudra tried to inject heat into his voice, but it must have sounded hollow even to him. Which is when he pulled out that old reliable - the one about unfathomable women - and thanked the stars that Paro was convinced.
# Have to Distract Your Body From its Real Purpose: Which might just give away your state of mind, and body, for that matter, before you are ready. Like Rudra grabbed Paro's soft upper-arms real hard, when what he really wanted to do was to hug her tight and kiss the guilt, hurt and puppy-dog look right off her face after his talking-to.
# Listen to Advice That Will Make Him Yours: Usually from an older and wiser sister or mother figure. Like Mythili. Paro drank in Mythili's words of wisdom about the three attributes that made for a good husband. And the two that Paro needed to focus on. Rudra was already her protector. Now all Paro needed to do was to fight for him to be her friend and lover.
# Play Dress-up and Knock His Socks Off: A failsafe that requires no explanation. Just reaction. Restless eyes and restless mouth being spot on. Like Rudra's free-wheeling gaze and unguarded: "You look good!" Which couldn't be covered up even with the very plausible: "I mean, it's good that you look like a new bride."
# Forget Everything At Her Promises: Like where you are and why you are there and fly away on a day-dream that's more attractive than saving your job and your life. It took his CO's interruption to drag Rudra unwillingly out of reverie he'd fallen into when Paro asserted that she'd wanted to be married to him and promised to make their marriage work as long as she lived.
So, after the Suhaag Raat, the CVs are giving us the honeymoon. Today's delicious episode, filled as it was with many honeyed moments, marked the start of the romance track. And with the social workers keeping an eye on the newly-weds and Kakisa's efforts to shatter the rose-tinted image PaRud will be at pains to project, we are in for a treat. At least for the next few days until Rudra is reinstated into the BSD and back on active duty.
Today's RR cued such sweet romance that we'd have been forgiven for thinking it was Valentine's Day. We had soft words, warm looks, tender touches, hidden fire and inner glow well-matched by sumptuous sets, wardrobe, lighting and screenplay. Acting was on-the-ball as usual. And Ashish and Sanaya were a joy to behold. 👏👏👏 to the cast and crew for today.
Waiting for more romance tomorrow!

Beautiful take Sabs.

Was a lovely episode wasn't it? A good start of the week.

I loved how Rudra played Sumeir! Sumeir is a teddy bear Villian. He really donot know to do dada giri. Just heavily misguided by his Ma-Sa .. Hope he will find his soul mate, who can then help him redemm himself and walk him to light..😊

I loved how Paro was so eager to know, now that Rudra knows who is the real culprit, does he believe her and is he willing to correct things between her. Shows her simplicity and innocence. She just takes whatever Rudra tells her - face value. Does not try to delve deeper into his words.

I loved how Rudra tried to show her the deeper issues. Very gentle but stern. Still i am not sure if Paro understands his frustration in the true sense.

I loved Mythili being a moral support to Paro. And her being her Jeeja and doing the rituals, plus giving her strength to find her Rudra..

Totally LOVED, how Rudra is now openly admiring Paro..😆 .. I thnk this is the 1st time in RR history. 👏.. And liked how he covered up his slip nicely.. Both the times.. 😆.. Soon he is going to run out of excuses.. 😊

Loved that Paro is starting to gain admiration from Rudra.. Rudra was completely lost in her, when Paro was talking to mr Singh.. I guess, Rudra always admired her inner strength..and now given the situation, his 8 vows etc, her still being supportive and still truthful is affecting him in a positive way..

Kcm is planning big, Social worker (sw) in the Haveli and kcm planning to hurt Paro badly..hmmm , should I be scared? Or happy that KCM will once again end up playing cupid?

I like the SW already. She has sharp eyes.. She is already observing Rudra&Paro's body language..she does look stern but not malicious.
I think i am going to lve this track.. At the end of this, Rudra will be all polished... A true diamond? 😊
Love

Loved loved your writing. Your play of words, witty, but the underlying feeling, so warm and sweet. Cannot wait for a melting Rudra!

Great take again!
This hate marriage will be the sloppiest one on TV history. No concrete hatred to even start the marriage, and 1st day after the wedding night, bitwa is falling hard for the bitiya. I tell you, even if this nari-shakthi-morcha doesn't come to investigate, I am sure Rudra's weak restraint will bite the dust in 5-6 episodes.

But why should we complain? We are being assured that we are getting Rasiya veys constantly for the nest 10/20 episodes 😃 So lets wee where this is going.
