Pyaar Dosti Hai
He laid his head back staring at nothing and thinking for the upteenth time. what are they?'. This question wandering in his mind from ages now. They are friends, best friends...right? Until yesterday everything looked perfect but today he could not ignore that single word- looked'. Everything just looked' perfect but actually it wasn't. how can it be when everthing is so complicated. He, his feelings, his feelings for her...his best friend. He can not have feelings for his best friend...that's against rule...right?
He can not loose her but how will he. She is just in a relationship. Relationship doesn't means bye-bye friends...but are they only friends...best friends? And most importantly she has not even said yes to that idiotic guy but she didn't said no either. She looked so confused. She never look confused to answer proposals. Many guys propose her and she rejects them and then he himself teases her and tells her to accept a proposal but he just tells' her to do that. Ahhh...so many buts. She instantly rejects each and every guy then why not this new one. Will she say yes and go away from him forever? No...he wont let this happen...but why? Why do he care if she is in a relationship? Sharon is his friend as well and he himself helped swayam propose her then why not kriya? Why kriya is different? Why is she special? He should be happy if she gets in a relationship...right?
2 am...
He sat on the couch tired of his futile attempts of sleeping. This is not happening. He the reyaansh singhania' having a sleepless night...its so not good.
3 am...
He stood near the window. What is this? He is gonna kill someone...her. He is gonna kill her if she accepts that proposal...but why? Again a but. He is getting mad. He needs a doctor but at this time doctor wont be available...what is he thinking...he don't need a doctor. He is fine...ya...absolutely fine.
4 am...
He laid on the bed again. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. God damn it. He woke up at 6 am today and then did work out, then went to college and studied with full concentration, then rehearsed for 3 hours and at last while going home his best friend spilled the beans of her new proposal with that unexplainable look on her face and now no sleep. How can he not sleep after such a long day.
5 am...
He cupped her face while she closed her eyes. He went near her and was about to take her luscious lips in his when suddenly he woke up. Oh! He is dreaming about her...what can be worse? Lets watch tv...yes. He switched on tv only to find shahrukh khan saying "pyaar dosti hai" and then the teacher who didn't looked like one repeating his line god knows for how many times. This is so not helping. He switched off the tv only to bang his head on the wall.
6 am...
Fine. He accepts it. His heart wins. He likes her...no love...nothing...just like. He could deal with it. His heart won but with a tinge of mind.
7 am...
Should he call her? No...off cource not. He should just go and freshen up to go to the college or else he would look like a perfect potato today.

He went in the college totally lost in his own thoughts when he felt someone's arm around his shoulder...someone who he doesn't want to face right now...her.
"whats up potato head?"
She said to her best friend who was completely on other planet right now.
"kya hai kriya?"
"tu bta kya hai...aesa muh bna kr kyu ghum rha hai."
"kuch nhi...bas aese hi."
Suddenly sharon called kriya from a distance all excited. Kriya just excused herself for a minute while he just thanked sharon in mind.
He saw her...correction...stared at her. She looked so serene, so beautiful. She was talking to sharon, giggling, jumping and laughing in between probably doing the girl talk about swayam and sharon's yesterday's date. Involantorily his facial muscles moved showing a smile. He always loved seeing her. Her one smile made his day whereas her sad face spoiled it. The only thing he prayered was to keep her happy and he knew he could do anything for her one small smile...her beautiful small smile.
"I love her."
He murmered to himself inaudible to his own ears while smiling and staring at her.
She came back to him and found him lost again but this time smiling and lost. She smaked back of his head bringing him back to earth.
"kya hua hai tujhe aaj?"
"mujhe kuch..kuch bhi toh nhi"
"ok...fine. You know what maine na us rehan ko mana kr diya."
"really...that's great...fabulous!!! I...i mean kyu...why?"
He said covering up his initial words at the end.
"you know I didn't liked him."
"u didn't...then why were you confused?"
"because he is my friend...unknown logon ko na bolna easy hai but friends ko na bolna...dar lagta hai that khi you don't even loose their friendship. I don't understand achanak se logon ki feelings kese badal jaati hai. I hate it jab friendship me proposals wagera aa jate hai...its insane."
She spoke and went away giving a major heart attack to him. Now this is what I call problem.

He felt like banging his head on wall. Ye toh locha-e-ulfat hi ho gya yaar. He loves her and after deciding to say a bye-bye to his feelings, swayam made him realize that even she loves him although she is unknown to the fact. Whole college knew that they love each other except the two fools themselves but no one told them. That's so unfair. Atleast they should have warned them about the realization bomb. He realized it only because he felt like losing her but she...she is more stubborn than him. How will she...wait a sec...if she also feels like loosing him then...then maybe everything falls in place...but if not? He got to do something then why not this? He has a plan...maybe.

Its been 1 week now...1 whole week. Since 7 days her best friend...her rey is not her rey. He has become Tanya's rey. He just keeps on talking about her and looking at her and imagining her. How can he suddenly out of no where starts liking...correction as he says loving that bimbo. Aur aaj toh had hi ho gyi...he planned of proposing her. Seriously? She was hell tired of this behaviour of his. Since 1 week she is feeling as if he is going away from her...she felt that she is loosing the most precious thing in this world and today she just burst out. Noone can take her rey...not even rey himself. She barked at him when he said that he was going to propose that Tanya. She just shouted and shouted and shouted but his few words made her absolutely silent. For the first time the Kriya Ghai doesn't knew what to say.
"why do you even care? Why am I so special to you? Why cant you loose me? what are we?"
In the dark room of silence only his words echoed in her ears. He is not here yet he is here. What are they...besties or something more...much more? He is not like other boys...he is speacial...way too speacial. This is so confusing. Last week everything was sorted but this whole week she felt like either killing him and then jumping off a cliff as she couldn't live without him or killing that tanya. Second option is better. She should murder tanya but why? She should be happy for him...but she is not. Why cant she llive without him? Why and when did he become her reason to live?
Suddenly she heard a beep on her computer...it was a message...message from him. It had a link and then it read "enjoy a sleepless night ;-)" he even knows that she is not able to sleep because of him...great! What can be worse?
She opened the link only to find a vedio clip from her all time favorite film. Shahrukh khan spoke "pyaar dosti hai" and then that archana puran singh repeating the line. She has seen this clip...why has he sent it now? And then she saw it again and something clicked her mind. Do she? She cant. This cant. He also but she doesn't. Do she?

He was in his dreamland...correction kriyaland, sleeping peacefully when he felt himself totally shaking.
"earthquake...earthquake...help"
He woke up with a jolt shouting it when he felt a hand n his mouth...her hand.
"shut up idiot...its me."
"tu...oh!"
He sighed and laid down again. His sleep had departed by now but he was too lazy to sit down right now. So he just laid down with his head resting on his elbow admiring the nervous beauty in front of him sitting cross legged on his bed.
" mujhe phirse yaad dilaio ki maine tujhe apne ghar ki chabi kyu di thi..."
"shut up rey and get up"
"I am not sleeping but I am not getting up and what time is it?"
"its 4 in the morning lazy head"
"tu subah ke chaar beje yha kya kar rhi hai."
"teri us video ne mujhe saari raat nhi sone diya and I cant handle the anxiety and desperation of a sleepless night...so..."
He smirked knowing exactly what is coming.
"I am listening. Continue."
"umm...you know I thought a lot...a lot...and I know you know and you didn't said and that video...after seeing it for 24 times I realized that humari dosti...dosti thi hi nhi matlab thi but ab nhi hai...matlab hai but..."
"pyaar dosti hai."
He intrupted her knowing that she would not be able to say it first. He knew he had to say it but he just wanted to see her try cutely...she is so cute.
"pyaar dosti hai."
She repeated him while blushing. This feels so right. Why didn't she realized it before.
"we...umm...should you know."
She said knowing he would understand.
"ya...I know...lets try."
He said and went near her still half lying down while she closed her eyes. He captured her lips and within 3 exact seconds both jerked apart.
"this is so awkward."
"weird."
"ya"
"we should give it some time."
"hmm...way too awkward."
They both lied down beside each other murmering the above sentences.
They turned a bit, facing each other and suddenly out of no where looked at each other eyes. His brown choclaty eyes dipped in her black ones and the next moment he captured her waist pulling her onto him while she held his neck and submitted herself completely to him. She placed her lips on his relishing the sweet taste. Finally both knew the real meaning of their friendship.

Rams...my darling, my honey you demanded it and I am so sorry if you feel like killing me after this...I prefer poison, knife makes it all very bloody...I don't like blood.
