Bani, another form of Vani is another name of Goddess Saraswati, who is supposed to have the most beautiful voice (Vani means vocal) and plays veena. It literally means 'voice' like 'Akash Vani' (Voice from the sky), 'Madhura Vani' melodious voice etc.
