I thought everyone should put their comments on what mother means to you and put anything they feel like for your mother! just put your feelings here and do show it to your mother!
our friend set_raj has showed us the significant meaning of mother very well! 👏 good job raj! so lets go ahead and show our love to our mother's! you can put anything you would like in this thread for your mom!
so this is for my mom along with all the mother's out there!

What is a mother?
A mother is a female that carried you for nine months.
A mother is someone that will always be by your side and love you no matter what.
A mother is someone that will always have more love for you than anyone else.
A mother is the person that guides you in the right direction.
A mother is someone that always wants you to do right.
A mother is someone that wants the best for you and someone that wants you to accomplish want ever you can.
A mother is person who raised you with manners, respect and love.
A mother is someone is the reason that you are breathing.

THIS POEM IS WRITTEN BY ME FOR BOTH OF MY MOMS!

M- my moms give me love love and more love
O- obtain and maintain the trust in me
T- thank you mom for being there for me
H- has always gave me their blessing in whatever i do.
E- eager to see me when im gone and i miss her so much
R- runs for me everywhere and i thank her and love her for what she did for me.

this poem is to both of my moms written by me.

moms you guys are the best
and you have given every test
hope i can give you the happiness you gave me
as you are like the calm and sparkling sea
there is nothing more like you
i know that no one can take your place and if someone can tell me who?
you have a special place in my heart
that makes everything in you look like art

Pooja I too want to wish all mothers happy mother's day. I wish my mom was alive but I guess I am the unlucky one who lost both her parents at very early age.
It is a beautiful thread and i loved the poems you posted. it brought tears in my eyes remembering my mom.

Truly the word 'mother' or 'amma'(in kannada) or 'Ma', exudes a special sense of love and joy for anyone. For me, i feel the first person to think of, at the time of joy or crisis is my 'amma'.
