Last 25 years: Most Memorable Impactful performance by an actress

I made a list of top 10 MOST memorable performances by a lead actress in last 25 years (1988-2013) by giving it so much thought, hence u can see all the names STRICTLY ON MERIT and some really good (but a bit overhyped) performances like vidya for TDP kahani,. aalia for highway, deepika for RL etc seems missing..they were no doubt great roles and been performed equally good, but this is a very selected list of top of the top 10 roles in the LAT QUARTER CENTURY, so I make sure that it reflects nothing but pure merit.

I expect also that u will vote on the bases of true merit only (and not just on favorites' base) , and will backup your vote with your valuable comments.

plz disregard the following similar thread where I don't know how I forgotten the best performances of tabu urmila manisha & rani... thanks friends for the reminder. and its NOT JUST THE HAUNTING/spinechilling performances unlike the below stated first thread that disregarded, but a performance AS A WHOLE .
Sorry lolo, bebo, sonakshi & raveena's fans to take out their name but I guess even u will agree that these newly added 4 names and their particular performances r one or even 2-3 notches higher in calibre and complexity (plus ofcourse finesse)

I'm not trying to defend my favorite here, but I think Rani nailed her role in Black. It is NOT easy playing a blind, deaf, and mute girl. To see her in that film as herself in terms of no make up or no fancy clothes etc was so nice. Usually in films we see the 'unreal' side of actresses with outfits, make up, jewelry. The 'simplicity' factor is lost. But she nailed her role. Though the movie related to Helen Keller's story, Rani & Ayesha were brilliant in their roles and even the non-fans must give credit for a role well done!

The only ones I've seen from the list are PC and Kangana's performances so going by that I would say PC! Kangana is a good actress but PC is in a league of her own.

How come u can afford to miss such great movies been a bollywood viewer 😲 ... ok nothing held against u 😃 just watch every film from the list one by one, and I can guarantee that u will LOVE almost all of them. 😊

yeah thats understandable, even I been a 22 year (now) have watched most of them much later then their release ... all of them r exceptional films on some level or the other

ofcourse Rani was PAR EXCELLENCE in Black, thats why I had to make a new thread taking out some of the names from the polling options of the older thread to make space for RAni who I totally forgot to add (same goes for tabu manisha & urmila for their respective movies) as it would be very unfair to not add their and rani's name for these films even by mistake, as far as most memorable roles during the last 25 years r concerned.
