Last 25 years: Most Memorable Impactful performance by an actress - Page 2

When I read the subject of your thread on the main page, the only movie that came to my mind was Black. Good that I found it was also one of the options in your poll. I would have been very disappointed otherwise.

I cannot in good conscience include films like Lamhe for instance in the same category.

I also just realized I have not seen a lot of Urmila's movies. Only Rangeela comes to mind. Will check these out.

u didn't liked sri's portrayal in LAmhe... ? I am not at all a fan of sridevi, I even bash poor sri whenever there is a sri-madhuri war going on 😆 (being a forever madz' fan) but I have to say she left an ever lasting impact in this exceptional movie playing the role o a matured settled woman in love, and then in 2nd half a naughty, sensitive and craving for love young teenage with FLYING COLORS...but its understandable that pasanad apni apni..

I will highly recommend u to watch all these urmila films in the options, plus Tehzeeb and Naina also, all of them r brilliant and very diversed flicks.

Jhilmil is simply unforgettable so PC it is for me

see it's hard to say which one of this is the best. So many actresses, and many great performances. And they are all great for different reasons. Priyanka was great in Barfi for her innoncence , Karishma was great in Shakti for the power and strength she showed.

yup for that reason, her voice in it 😆 just kidding... EV was nodoubt a supreme performance, but as far as I am concerned when we talk about best of the best performances in last 25 years, in front of gumraah and lamhe, EV seems a one or 2 notches lower then these 2...(strictly my opinion)... but sri fans can consider EV too and can forsure vote for her name in the options.

I kind of feel like my favourite performances are missing from this list.

I would have honestly voted for either Karishma Kapoor or Kajol if they were on the list. I believe Karishma in Fiza, Zubeidaa and Shakti was awesome. I remember Karishma's scene in Fiza where she cries for her dead mother and that scene in Shakti where her mouth is full of blood and she screams when Nana throws her son away. I still remember those scenes until today...For me that was one of the strongest acting jobs I have ever seen in Bollywood.

And ofcourse Kajol has had many great scenes as well.

PC for sure.
all of them are good but priyanka did extremely well as jhilmil.she played someone totally out of her character and that too with such perfection.
so priyanka it is.
