As ppl said here, HR is not money minded, if he were , he wud be 5 times richer. He never raised his fees after KNPH supersuccess, and did FIza and MK for penutes but gave his all in the movies... as agreed.

I just saw a fan made poster in another thread. Wow just wow. Just give the man the money KJo. You can afford it...

Shekhar Kapur however gave a very different reason for the amicable parting in his blog. Don't know what is true.

See.. K-Jo is playing the same. I remember those nasty articles on Shahid (when he left SDR) saying he was meddlesome that's why YRF kicked Shahid out.

Fiza, MK and Yaadein were all films signed before the release of KNPH.

Karan Johar's yet-to-go-on-floors Shuddhi is once again in the news, this time not for the leading cast but for the cast that might have been.

It was rumoured that Hrithik Roshan walked out of the film due to health issues or because of crisis in his personal life at that time, but a report goes on to say that Hrithik pulled out of the film because he was not happy with the profit-sharing deal between him and producer Karan Johar.

Hrithik Roshan, who has worked with Karan in film Agneepath, reportedly wanted a 40 percent share in Shuddhi's profit. However, the report says K Jo was not willing to give that big a share to the actor, and that became the bone of contention between the two.

But producer Karan Johar has scotched the report, saying Hrithik didn't walk out because of money.




Earlier, Hrithik had confirmed that he is no longer a part of Shuddhi by issuing a press statement in which there was no mention of money:

"Karan Malhotra and I have decided to unite in the most ambitious way post Shuddhi'. For now I cannot allow a vision like Shuddhi to stagnate any further. I had the finest experience an actor can have working with Karan M in 'Agneepath' and I'm sure both my dear Karans are going to go beyond with this one! Shuddhi' remains a part of me in spirit & am sure it will be a landmark in our cinema. I wish them all the best!"

When Hrithik Roshan decided to quit the movie, Kareena Kapoor, the female lead, too, became skeptical and pulled out.

Till now, the makers haven't been able to finalize the cast of the film. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone both were approached for the movie, but the lovebirds chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani over it.

for still using his name and spreading rumor
that made him take quick step to clear it
