I am starting to feel Shuddhi's script is not upto the level of the hype. Everybody is walking out of the film and others like Aamir-SRK rejected it.

Else, Ranveer and Deepika would have surely taken it up...Shuddhi, atleast on paper, sounds like a much bigger and safer venture than Bajirao Mastani. Plus, KJo's marketing skills are unparalleled...with the rumored beaus in toe, KJo would have ensured that Shuddhi was constantly in news.

But the script must have had serious issues for actors like HR, Ranveer and Deepika not opting for it.

Firstly HR is not money minded at all, he has always done big films, and nowhere money issues popped up .

secondly, KJO himself told that with HR in the film, budget will be 150 cr and all, then when you can stake so much money at him then why cannot he ask for a profit share ? If HR's making the film a success would be so uncertain why would the film have so high budget ?

I am superglad that HR left this film, for whatever reasons he did, one shuddhi or puddhi won't change anything. even small actors like Ranveer have rejected the film , so i dont see Aamir doing it.

Plus ppl stop boasting Aamir's success, dhoom3 anyhow was supposed to break records, the film would do the same if any other khan or big actor would do it as the franchise is larger than life. and b4 dhoom3, we all know what happened to Talaash.

Aamir's last 3 films do have one film which is not a cleant hit, salman also has the same graph currently.

only SRK and HR are the top actors whose last three films are clean hits and actually huge hits , so let these two get the credit and mention when a comparison arises.

and yes, lastly i really do not mean that HR is bigger than khans, but he definitely is a better choice than Khans for any of these dhoom, shuddhi or bajirao roles, irrespective of the BO profits they bring.

Looking at the situation with Shuddhi I guess HR is justified. There is no one in BW who has his kind of good looks added to his BO pull. I mean who can imagine Aamir of all people to replace HR. KJo better give HR what he wants and get him back if he wants Shuddhi to take off.
