Sejal yaar I completely understand where you're coming from, but it's really hard to compare a mother's love to a man's love. A mother can share her love with amongst the children but a man can only give that utmost love to his wife and no other girl (who doesn't have the status). Kamla really does baffle me. Yes it's true that Kalpi is her daughter but she considers Paki her own since she pratically raised her. Despite this, I feel like she should still have given Kalpi a little more importance. But maybe that's the reason she didn't try to differentiate? As I said before, analyzing her will take lifetime for me. She isn't just a straight-forward character. Her actions are very confusing at times. I find her sweet and yet so careless sometimes. I am not going to get into what Kamla seems like to me because that's the discussion for another day. Right now, I am glad that Raghav took the time to distinguish between the gift form Kalpi and the gift from Paki. Hopefully Paki sees the light soon with this!
