I think Rahul found out about Roma. He was up also when the dog came. He is shocked but hopes to reform Roma. He wanted to injure Sirji so she could be taken to safety and away from naxalites.

Or he could be just helping Sandy not lose the task and took aim at Sirji's target. He hit it fine and it was actually Sandy's bullet that hit Sirji or he happened to miss and Sandy's actually hit the target. Sandy should examine the target I am sure she will find a bullet hole in it

I suspected Roma the moment they showed Rahul coming at night and meeting Sandhya. In mystery novels it is always that the one you think is the culprit is never the one. Zakir will not do it, everything was against it.

I initially thought of either Raghav or deepak but then settleed on Roma as when rahul mentioned meeting her with his parents and of marriage, she looked hesitant.

It was Roma then.
