Aaliya's Royal Elegance

It's not just Zain-Aaliya's chemistry that viewers love about Beintehaa but they also love the style statement that the leading lady of the show Aaliya portrays. Her long and colourful anarkalis have added charm to the show. "I am amazed at the fact that my fans have been asking me about my attire on the show. Lots of Muslim girls have been sending me messages that Aaliya is their role model in every sense including style," Preetika Rao who portrays Aaliya on the show tells us.
When the character of Aaliya was being scripted, Preetika took interest and gave references of various looks for Aaliya. "I selected lots of reference pictures from various designers; carefully saw their designs and patterns. I observed how Muslim girls dress up. That's how we came up with the final look of Aaliya. We wanted Aaliya to look royal and elegant," she adds.
Aaliya's anarkali designs are mostly floral patterns with embroidery work. She is a lively and chirpy girl so bright colours are added to her palate. "The look is inspiring for a lot of girls to go traditional like Aaliya. It's quite an achievement for us," Preetika concludes.
