I am again going on characters today. Today was journey of Astha to some truths. Also it seems the story might be changing.
Anjali and Astha
Astha's journey to realizing some truths begins with Anjali. Astha started convincing Anjali that she is telling the truth, only to have her point being brushed aside by Anjali according to whom Astha is here only for few days and she does not want her to create any more problems. So Anjali thinks that Astha will leave? Why? Also why is she reminding Astha that she will leave? Has she worked out that Neernajan wants the marriage to break and that what Neeranjan wants usually happens? Or does she think that Astha genuinely wants to leave? Coming to Astha, she has been brought up in a family where people usually pay attention to what she says because they love her unconditionally. Astha does not understand it is not necessary that what happens in her family will also take place at Agnihtori's who believe in conditional love. She also does not understand that one cannot force or make someone accept the truth when they themselves do want to believe in it. It is not about Anjali trusting or not trusting Astha, it is more about Anjali turning a blind eye for Neeranjan. Anjali told Astha clearly that they have given her so much love and in return is this what she is giving them. This is similar to what she told Varad...that they have given him freedom to choose his own profession but he has to pay them back by giving a grandson. Both are perfect examples of conditional love...and if they can behave like this with their own son then why can't they behave like this with Astha? Anjali further said that is something happened to Aditi then how are they going to protect their name in front of others. It is true that Aditi could have died but Anjali did not once think that if Aditi was really interested in committing suicide then she would have done that in seclusion and not in front of others. People usually do that when they want attention or when they want to prove a point. Anjali is not an idiot but she won't think like that because then then she will have to acknowledge the truth. Also the family is not that helpless, they can protect themselves by proving that Aditi had bad intentions and the suicide attempt was just a step to cause problems for Astha. But that will mean accepting that Neernajan is not a good judge of character, since he was the one who brought Aditi. Anjali further goes on to add that because of Astha's actions Neeranjan had to bow down his head in front of his friend and that Neeranjan has been hurt by this action. So it again comes back to choosing to bury her head in sand for. Anjali also referred to Astha as shameless because she did not understand her mistake and was repeating it...insulting Neeranjan and not understanding that Neeranjan is bigger than any truth. She also sendsAstha to look after Aditi so that Aditi's ego can be massaged. Anjali did hurt Astha and did call her names but somehow I felt that she is also trying to protect her. Was she also warning her regarding the rules of this house...if she chooses to stay?
Anjali and Neeranjan
Anjali kept the glass of milk on the side table and as she was leaving Neeranjan showed his displeasure on Anjali by using his usual hurt tone to indicate to her that why is she repenting for her past mistakes when she is continuing to create blunders (him telling her not to do prayschit). He also might not have wanted Anjali to stand outside because people living in the house are disturbed with the happening and hence they might not be able to sleep. So chances of being caught will be more than before. Anjali immediately understood that she has done something wrong and she asked Neeranjan (In the background Neeranjan's trademark sa re ga re music started which indicates that manipulation has started. It started slowly and then went on to hit a crescendo at the end of the scene). Anjali has worked out that Neeranjan does not want this marriage to survive and Neernajan's manipulative music shows that most probably, she is not far away from the truth. Actually at one point Neeranjan slips...when Anjali was going to object regarding Astha doing the puja because she will be leaving, Neeranjan told her that lets think about today now and we will think about what will happen later when she leaves. At the end of the conversation Neeranjan's mirror image was also shown...which also indicates that what he is saying is not the truth. Something is going on in his head regarding the divorce. Another thing is Neeranjan also asked Anjali to buy jewelry for Aditi and he didn't show any emotional attachment towards her and just wants to do it as a means of buying their favor. Now since the same manipulative music was going on...is he trying to hoodwink Anjali into believing that Aditi is of no importance to him or is it just another means of manipulating Ajinkya?
Astha and Shloke
Astha's shawl is used to dust Shloke's bed? Interesting.😛..also first Astha was using it and then Shloke snacthed it from her and started using it.😉..Shloke is furious that one mistake of Astha's could have resulted in Aditi hitting the bucket and that Astha should have apologized to Aditi with a clear heart. But then he stops his tirade and looks down saying that she will not understand...what won't she understand? That why is he doiing all this? Astha tried to make Anjali understand and now she is hoping that atleast Shloke will understand because to her loving someone means trust that person. Shloke as usual throws a tantrum (actually tantrums are good because that means that Shloke knows what Astha is saying the truth but he does not want to accept it😳) and tells her that because of her nature people in this family have problems with her...Because she never wants to accept that she can be wrong...Welll in one way Shloke was telling the truth, not the complete truth but some amount of truth is there...It is true that Astha is not seeing the other side of the coin and that she wants others to accept the truth without any proof and just on her word. She is not thinking that what happens in her parents place will happen here too. This has happened before too but that time she did not face the consequences because Shloke held back on Neeranjan's orders. But is that the only reason why the family members are having problems with her? 😳Isn't it also that fact that Astha is not bowing down and accepting rules, when she seeing wrong being done? Isn't this also that is creating problems for family members because they believe in the Ostrich principle? 😳Shloke also threw a hissy fit because she does not want to change...why because it will make life easier for him. He can have his cake and eat it too? Or does he want her to change so that she understands his perspective. Anyway then he drags in the person with whom he has the maximum problem ...I mean he blamed her upbringing and that means he blamed his sasuma...Kalindi, the daughter of the Sun God😛. Baby bear is really irritated with his sasuma because of sasuma's influence his honeypot is not bending down. Infact she declared to the whole world that she loves baby bear but did not to his sasuma. Baby bear has further more to add...that he is ready to forgive all her dramas but he will not forgive anyone hurting his father, because baba's friends daughter has been hurt. Oh that's very generous of him that he is ready to forgive her..😳.if he follows his persepective but how about following his own advice? 😳And really it is all about baba? What about he knows that honeypot is right but he does not want to accept it because then he will have to accept that his baba is wrong...which will mean that he is wrong. So as usual his baba is the front when something else is going on in his brain. 😳Just like he married honeypot because he wanted to avenge his baba's so called dishonor and him marrying honeypot had nothing to do with his issues regarding Swati which honeypot brought out in him? He also told Astha that he can destroy himself for his baba...so what about her? She is an outsider. Actually he did not mean in the sense that she is an outsider to him...he meant with reference to his baba. He is baba's blood and yet he can destroy himself for his baba while Astha is not related to his baba...thankfully she is not. Astha took it the other way that he meant outsider when he is concerned. She is heartbroken that today he has crossed all limits and that when she came to this house for 6 months she came with the acceptance that she will have to leave (so she didn't come because she wanted to find answers?) and that although her brain warned her yet she fell in love again. That her heart wanted to get close to him but her brain kept on warning her and she listened to her brain and now she has lost. Baby bear is going on his tantrum spree and has now wrapped the blanket around himself......Honeypot continues that as long as she stays in the house she will hurt baby bear because there is a difference in their beliefs...that she has been taught to always support the truth (Kalindi's influence) and baby bear does not want to listen to the truth (baba's influence)...Well its good that she realized that it is not that Shloke does not trust her but it is more to do with the fact that he does not want to because then he will have to face the truth and cannot hide his head under the blanket...or in the sand. Honeypot clearly tell him that the difference between them is the difference between what is right and what is wrong. Interesting baby bear just sulked and he does not lash back...can he negate this truth? He actually has a very thoughtful look. Honeypot has a self-talk that it is good that her eyes have finally opened to the truth. Honeypot goes to make her bed and baby bear watches her...both are on their own beds and in deep thoughts. Honeypot is crying and remembering how baby bear protected her not thinking about his own life...how he took care of her in the forest. So care is there...but what if trust is not there (Kalindi's main worry regarding Shloke). While Shloke is remembering Astha hugging him when he saved her from the car accident...Astha telling her of her feelings...declaring to the entire world that she loves him and then he himself reaching out for her and hugging her in the jungle...So again the feelings are there but what is the use if he does not let go of his issues. The next day baby bear and his honeypot both make the gudi and it is baby bear who has a sad expression and is continuously looking at honeypot.
The rats are back
Abhay and his aunt are behind the grills of the window and Abhay is throwing a fit that he cannot manage anymore and that he will make up some story and tell his in laws. The aunt stops him from doing that and tells him that it is all to be blamed on his stars...son got changed to a daughter and Jyoti developed a spinal chord and will his in-laws be happy to know this...She also warns him that the in laws are very powerful. She meant Neeranjan...son got change into girl means Neeranjan has been fed lies (and it is due to Abhay that Jyoti lied) and Abhay's action resulting in Jyopti developing spinal cord means Jyoti has revolted. Will Neeranjan be happy if he knows this? Anyway the phone rings and Abay glares at it...he then pounces on it only to realize that it is Anjali on the phone who wants to talk to Jyoti. Abhay tells her that he is there to take care of Jyoti and Anjali accepts it and tells Abhay that if they want anything then they should tell her and Abhay says that he knows that she always fulfills all his wishes. Now this is true...it is Anjali who is feeding Ajay's ego. Anyway Abhay then solemnly promises that he won't accept any more calls on his land line ...why can't the Agnihotri's land at his place and that he must have married Jyoti at some auspicious time...but what has that got to do anything with landline?
Barney and Jyoti...also Varad.
Barney and Jyoti are in their world and Jyoti is standing in front of the open window, with fresh breeze blowing on her face. She is mesmerized by the sight of Barney teaching the little girl to play the mouth organ. After the girl leaves, Barney observes her watching him and then he starts playing it again...their world is broken by an intrusion...a phone call for Barney regarding an interview. Barney leaves for the interview and it turns out that it is Varad who is interviewing him. On being asked by Varad that why didn't he stick to any of his jobs, Barney's response was that he did not get on with the people whom he had to work for and that's why he left. Varad's expression becomes serious here...Barney continues that his past experience should not create any problems here because he thinks that both of them will get on well. Varad is now furious that Barney is buttering him up and asks him to leave. Was Varad irritated because Barney was buttering him up or was he angry at himself that Barney can leave when he thinks that he cannot mix with the people with whom he has to work with...while Varad does not have that option? Also people usually like being flattery, so why doesn't he? By the way why did Varaad become a journalist...he does not support the truth at home ...so did he become a journalist so that he can make up for it by reporting about the truth. Anyway Barney comes out of the office thinking that Jyoti's luck was not enough for him to get this job.
At night Barney is hanging his clothes to dry and when Jyoti says she will do it, he tells her that she should let him do his work (he is right here) and then he mentions Varad's name but Jytoi does not hear it because of the noise form the pressure cooker (will this come to play in the future?). Jyoti tells Barney that he should have faith on Bappa and that he will get the job and Barney says same to you...I mean he told her that she should follow her own advice and trust bappa..Then all problems in life will become small. Oh I definitely want him to enter the Agnihotri mansion. In fact he will be a good guide for honeypot. Although Jyoti was praying that if circumstances had been different she could have asked Varad to help Barney...but will involving Varad be a safe option?
The masala scene
Aditi tells Astha that she has saved her from getting her hands dirty and that she has really fulfilled the duties of a sister...so at the end will she understand her error?...I mean whatever issues she has regarding Shloke will become a non-issues because it will turn out to be a misunderstanding.
Aditi tells Astha that hatred is just on the outside the fire is much more bigger than that...is her stay being extended in the script? This is the change that I wrote about before. Most of us had guessed this part but are they now going for it.
Some questions...if Astha decides to shay back to protect Shloke and to right a wrong...Shloke's thought regarding escaping from the turth should be a wrong for Astha...will she change herself in the process? Also will it be Shloke who will then stop her? Or will she not change but show that she is changing...to be in the system to clean up the system
