Heyy lovelies, I used to be a frequent member of the "baat hamari paaki hai" forum but had given up on this ever since the show ended. But god, this show is beyond awesome and so I just have to partake in these discussions 😛

Anyway, my take on the maha episode is that it was actually pretty good. Yes, I agree the revelation and everything came slightly early but again this show has never been like the other Indian soap operas 😆 But apart from that, it was genuine. Paro feeling that way (or realizing her feelings all of a sudden) was genuine, Rudra reacting the way he did was genuine. Nothing seemed forced to me. The actors were behaving the way their character would behave in that presence. Paro has been a strong character from the beginning who is stubborn and gets what she wants (in a good way). SO after realizing her love, why wouldn't she act all crazy? It is bound to happen with her character. And same with Rudra, nothing too unexpected there. Obviously there had to be some drama, like Paro running to the award ceremony, sindoor falling on her forehead and bla bla bla. That is expected from an Indian tv show. 😉

To be honest, I would rather get to see a new twist or something unexpected everyday rather than expecting the same rona dhona crap like other tv shows. So kudos to the CVs for this 👏 and this show should keep going the way it is.

Well said. I loved the episode. Even I feel all the characters were in their place. True to their personalities. RR has always be different. Generally we see the nok-jok, tutu mai mai, slowly the realization, then the ego clash and at last the confession. We are so used to this cycle that when they showed us the confession today, we feel they rushed it. Parvati was never the type to realize her love or her destiny and just keep quiet about it to see how it pans out. Nor she is egoistic to say he has to confess first.

The confession in the hall was a little OTT but like you said this is indian soap. Tho ithne badi scene hai, tho thoda OTT tho bantha hai. 😉 I think CV's have a reason for this public confession too, like now Rudra will be forced to keep her in his house due to the media or his seniors orders. Let us wait and watch.
