Auditions are fun to watch but this year, they're only showing the bad singers. Big disappointment. They aren't even showing the backgrounds of some of the contestants.

at the end of the 1st episode OF II 3 I saw some contestants who were going to Mumbai I saw some good singers who have participated in previous SRGMP and Antakshari. Even Star one Antakshari. So I would wait until top 24 or what ever we see on show and decide.

This time So far on both shows we have some good and some average singers. Let us see what happens as show goes on.

I agree to the first part Sonya 😃. But really do we need to know any background info on this contestants?? I dont want to know where someone is coming from or what background they have. That is where the regionalism kicks in. Maa ka sapna, gaon ki chhori vagerah vagerah 😡 😆

I think they are showing us bad singers mostly. So may be top 28 would reveal what we have in store for.

True, good point. But it would be nice to know more about their background in music, what they do for a living etc. Not so much where they are from. Actually, we already know where most of them are from.

Hopefully regionalism won't kick in once public voting starts. Thats when we see the effects of regionalism. And come to think of it, its possible the background clips are edited so I guess its best that they have avoided it this season...
