In a clear and clever departure from earlier seasons, this year the producers of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi have decided to withhold the winner's name from even the finalists. A source from Cape Town, who was part of the shooting, says the decision was taken at the last minute. "Nikitin Dheer, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggal were the three finalists. As per the protocol each year they were asked to assemble for the winner's name to be announced. But they were told that the winner will be announced in India and they'll be informed accordingly."

One of the contestants, who did not make it to the finals, says they have not yet been given their full and final remuneration for participating in the show. "All of us, including the host Rohit Shetty, are sworn to secrecy by contract. We will be paid our final remuneration only at the end of the show," he reveals.

A source from the channel says, "This time we haven't divulged the name of the winner even to the contestants. Every season the name of the winner is revealed back home India as soon as the finale is shot. The suspense surrounding the competition is thereby ruined even before the show was telecast." sry if already posted
