Dilip Kumar returns Bachchans' olive branch

After Shatrughan Sinha, it's the veteran actor who is miffed with Amitabh and Jaya for not inviting him to the AbhiAsh wedding

When Amitabh Bachchan didn't invite several high profile members of the film fraternity to Abhishek and Aishwarya's wedding, some voiced their displeasure while others chose to graciously accept the letter of regret and mithai a few days after the event.

However, some like Shatrughan Sinha chose not to accept even that token from the Bachchans. Now, we hear several other personalities too have snubbed this offering.

Gracious note

Says a source, "Dilip Kumar is very upset at not being invited to the wedding, and has returned the mithai and letter from the Bachchans.

The buzz is that even Rajesh Khanna has returned the mithai and card.

But Khanna refutes the rumour saying, "I am not a rude man. If a person doesn't wish to invite me to his son's wedding, that's his discretion. But my good wishes will always be with the couple.

Abhishek is like a son to me. I wrote a letter thanking them and giving them my blessings. If they wanted to have a quiet wedding, that's their choice."

Didn't he find it strange that they invited former wife Dimple Kapadia and daughter Rinke, but not Twinkle and her husband Akshay Kumar? "Not at all.

My daughter Rinke and Shweta are the best of friends. I am not upset at all. My sincere prayer is that the couple should lead a happy married life."

Interestingly, Suresh Oberoi and his family have not only accepted the much-maligned package from the Bachchans, but have also sent a letter blessing the couple.

"It was a very dignified gesture, considering that barely a year ago Viveik and Ash were romantically involved," says a source.

THats AB decision who he wants to invite and who not! thats fine

but I will still like to add: AB is very calculative person and may be perfect! which is not good!!!
