I doubt the lip-locks. It could be hugs, kisses on the forehead, cheeks and neck.

The article is speculating the kiss - western style based on previous consummation episode in the popular Ekta's serial - BALH.

You have to remember, this is still taboo in India. Lip locks have come by recently to movies. It may take a bit more time. Sony received a lot of backlash and nasty comments eventhough people outside of India enjoyed a lot.

Another important point - this is an 8 PM slot, mostly family TV time. If I remember correctly the TV channels have a strict code of conduct by the Broadcasting Corporation in India that there should not be any lip-locks and explicit love making scenes before 11 pm. Thats the reason, Sony TV which airs BALH paid a hefty fine for showing it at 10.30 pm slot. The re-runs of that episode did not have those scenes, only the censored version. Thats why Sony themselves uploaded that specific episode on Youtube fully, so people could enjoy what they had shot.

Am writing this coz, I dont' want u all to get frenzied in Akdha land. Sorry if I had burst your bubble, for those who are watching a hindi show for the first time.

i hope they consummate their marriage in the jungle itself...i don't want them anywhere near Agra's pagal khana...it looks like i am the first one praying for such a place...at least in the jungle there is peace...in that pagal khana...there is no peace with creeps crawling in and out...

regarding lip-locks...i am not fond of it though if parijat agrees...i don't mind at all...but its a 8pm slot...they can't show a lip-lock scene...i don't mind camera angle lip-lock...as long its parijat in one frame...i have no issues at all...parijat doesn't need lip-locks to show their chemistry and passion...even in subtle chemistry they set the screens on fire...

so whatever we saw b/w drunk jallu and jodha was just a trailer...picture poora baki hai doston in the jungle...
