Meryl Streep is Amazing, She is Goddess of Acting, She is so empowering and so magnificent is all her roles! Being Meryl Streep is not easy and to reach that level is impossible!

So amusing and encouraging to see woman who has reached in her sixties, so powerful roles and getting film offers that are tempting and great!

Its Sad that BW hasn't given any such opportunity to any of its female stars, but if a woman would have been given these opp. who would have shines bright like MERYL!???? Or lets say which female actress has potential to go her way and eventually bag 18 FF nominations...

No one because no one consistently casts women in Bollywood past the age of mid-30s. And no one writes roles that could rival the variety that Meryl Streep had already managed to do by her mid-30s.

I wrote same thing

Its sad that BW doesnt have such a female but IF it happens or HAD HAPPENED, which female actress would have had or will have potential to shine like Meryl Streep!

No one! I don't think bwd makes enough movies where a actor has to really push the envelope! There is still a long way to go really.

She's been acting since she was a kid, has been in over 200 films lol that's a lot!

Tina Fey snarked in the Golden Globes that Meryl's nomination is proof that there are still great parts for Meryl Streep's over 60.

Hollywood is not exactly rushing to make films for women over 60. Only others who come to mind are Judi Dench and Helen Mirren. But there are more opportunities for women over 30 or 40 than Bollywood.

Meryl is unique in Hollywood. I just don't think there is an equivalent to her there let alone in BW.
