Meryl streep is something else but the closest in BW in terms of type of roles and how bankable they are is Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra. No one else comes to mind for now.

No one. There are lots of versatile actors/actresses but no one matched the likes of Meryl Streep or Leo DiCaprio if I can jsut add him in for a male counterpart. Or Daniel-Day Lewis. I have yet to see someone transform that way Meryl has so consistently for SO MANY years. I mean she's done it all and Alia Bhatt ain't even close to that kind of greatness. Whoever spoke rubbish like that needs a good slappin'. 😆
