ANYWAYS your replies are amazing but don't waste it on him ⭐️ 😆

Yeah she is. I think just the sort of public attention she garners by being present somewhere is enough proof to her achievements. It's fine if people don't want to credit her with those achievements...everyone certaintly has a bias, but it doesn't mean she hasn't achieved a lot for someone that had no filmy connections and basically no Khan to work with in her prime.
As Shobha De pointed out, Aish's biggest obstacle is also her biggest strength: her looks. A lot of times it's hard to get how beautiful she is and delve into her character. That's why periodic roles suit her alot b/c she has the aura, charisma, and "look" to carry. Her as Nandini, Paro, and JA--ICONIC. I do think these performances will be remembered. As for the other actresses, most of them ARE icons. Maduri and Sri Devi certaintly are and I'm not gonna argue that. And I personally believe Aish is right up there with them in terms of being iconic. Her popularity certaintly hasn't waned--be it due to Cannes, HW films, L'Oreal, or that Bachchan tag. It doesn't matter b/c people still care about her and want to know about her.As far as acting is concerned. I def think she's grown. Her clear weakness is rom-coms. However, her Southern Indian rom-coms were perfection. I guess if she works with the right ppl then she's able to pull it off. But she can def be too OTT for masala flicks, which is fine b/c Sri Devi was pretty OTT in her time and Madhuri was OTT in Beta as well. Overall, Aish has a pretty good filmography with a lot of flops but also a lot of critically acclaim and good performances: Hum Dil, Devdas, Khakee, Guru, Taal, Josh, KK, Sarkar Raj, Guzaarish, JA, Provoked, Raincoat and my favorite Chokher Bali. Honestly, there are A LOT of performances that were legit and she already is iconic. However, her true test will be the test of time and as a loyal fan I would she's never forgotten.Phew! I wrote a lot. 😆
