The new season of Satyameva Jayate as we had reported, earlier, is creating waves pan India. But, there are certain sections of society for instance, a reputed NGO which is upset with Aamir Khan's presentation of episode on domestic violence, thus, has given a new name to the show.
Save India Family Foundation, an institution, fights for the rights of men are miffed and are of an opinion that the superstar host has just put forward plight of women only. What about the domestic violence on men, thus, the NGO wants the name to be changed as Ardha-Satyameva Jayate (Half Truths only Triumph).
The institution also, asserts the show to be full of fake emotions and manipulations. How can Aamir just sideline men and not tackle the issues of men as a victim of violence.
That was not enough; SIFF also, claims the statistics presented in the episode as far as domestic violence against women is concerned to be bogus. The NGO goes to an extent of citing an example where, it says,Aamir Khan had quoted the data of National Family Health Survey (NFHS) - III, was funded by US embassy (or USAID) which purposely restricted to the women survey only ranging from the age group of 15 to 49.
