But in reality, guys are not that easy either. They are also bound by society's pressures and cannot simply overlook such pasts. It almost appears as fairy-tales.

I would have liked if Anuj said that he will think about the rishta, just as an initial jerk to Sa and family. And to show Sa, how it feels to handle society and rejection.

I suppose Anuj hasn't told about Sa's truth to his parents, and that will create more drama when they find out about Sa's past through those stupid posters.

I hope someone throws Mrs. Cobra in jail too for such low acts. Hope Cvs don't glorify the fact that for the sake of revenge , a rapist's family can do such cheap acts. It will be sending out wrong message.

Missesha, agree with all your points and don't mind Sanchi-Kabra track.
But I actually liked it when they showed Anuj was personally okay with it and may be his family is okay too. But eventually they bow down to the society and back out from this match! that does send out a powerful message. Ofcourse not how it is being shown through Mrs.Cobra but some other effective way.

They have shown Shyam reacting to Suguna when she called out Pratap's name at a "crucial point" other than that they have not actually shown how it affected him.

Shiv I suppose is a larger than life character and in many ways moulded in the same way as Anandi and he infact is a male version of Anandi so he could understand what she went through and like her for what those things made her.
He was shown in his lesser form during Sanchi Jagya Ganga Saga.He was shown as a brother who could close his eyes to the shortcomings of his little sister live in denial making himslef believe that she is changing and after the engagement broke the past relationship of his wife with Jagya hit him for the first time then.Wish they could have shown it in more detail. But I think at that time the makers had to go back and change it a bit because in some scenes they went overboard like showing Shiv being disrespectful towards Bhairon.
It would be nice if they show some more convincing situations where he is confronted with Anandi's relationship with J and her past.

They shouldn't have shown Anuj accepting this fact so readily. They could have shown him taking time to accept this.

Showing men as clam and understanding is fine, but equally important is to be able to show how they deal with the harsh facts and challenges thrown at them afterwards, which would really portray well the strength of their characters and make them more interesting to watch, as mentioned @bold. Jagya-Anandi-Shiv triangle interested a lot to me.

To a certain extent, they have done that with Jagya dealing with challenges of having to deal with Ratan in his life.

yes, I agree. The disappointment is lately with respect to treatment meted out to Anandi and Shiv's characters

Till Anandi agreed to marriage with Shiv, Shiv was projected as a young, dashing ambitious professional aspiring to make a significant difference to his work. He had a life of his own which was shown well too. But things have changed drastically after Ansh marriage I Anandi had immersed herself in Shekhar family and Shiv seems very happy with it, he is reduced to a common family man with his inconspicuous dynamism.

I feel their relationship has reached a dead happy boring ending, If not professional track, I would have liked to see healthy conflicts in their relationship as husband and wife, for e.g Shiv thinks of ways to bring her out of family matters and motivates her to pursue her career, as he knows she can really add value to society being in a responsibile position himself. And with Anandi, there are many possibilities. The director never showed her self-retrospection of her past relationship with Jagya and correcting them with Shiv.

But then the producers have to do justice to all the actors !

I agree. Most of the frustration is because what they are doing to Anandi and Shiv characters and on top of it the actress playing Sanchi is no great shakes either.
Ratan may be the most evil character till now but the actor playing Ratan is amazing. He portrays all the emotions so well. One can make out that he loves his son with all his evil lowly self and he still finds Ganga attractive and all this is shown in such subtle manner by him adds layers to his character which the actress playing Sanchi cannot and that's one reason why her story is boring to watch.

Anandi Shiv relationship - I remember the writer Purnendu Shekhar saying that once the lovers get married the story gets boring unrequited love stories are more interesting.May be this belief has something to do with it.
But stil they can show some conflicts between Anandi and Shiv. They don't bow down before other's wish all the time both are strong individuals with their own individuality and this came out very well post SaJa engagement breakup.Their marriage looked most interesting at that point.Sadly the amkers chose not to give that time instead they focused on silly family drama.

Aparna, I do like understanding men n also larger than life characters. It instills confidence in audience that if there is evil then there are nice people too. But every time we cannot have larger than life characters for every woman, where a woman's past is something that society usually looks down at, but the same women always end up getting smart, down to earth guys with strong professional n financial background with no past. That's unrealistic as well.
Divorce, pregnancy out of wed lock, child widow or rape are not easy aspects of a woman's life that can be easily accepted by society. Hence something needs to be realistic too. All of them can't end up getting most eligible bachelors

I agree with tellygeek that if Anujs parents would been shown a bit hesitant it would be ok. However credit shouldn't go to Mrs. Cobra. Again that would send a wrong message

Thanks for update
uff this Ratan Singh 😡

Ganga 😭Sargun was fantastic in acting Hats off to her . The actor playing Ratan Singh's role is doing a good job as well

Jagya had a small presence in the episode yet quite impactful

Nandu and Mannu are too adorable together aww Both rock

Rest super redemption of the century was complete torture Switched the channel 🤢So saint Sanchi told about what wrong happened with her but didn't tell how she tried to destroy the life of the guy she used to call her true love because he broke engagement with her on seeing her true face ?🤢What she did with him and his family ?🤢wow how much truth she told about herself ,how much honest ?🤢 How clearly she forgot her misdeeds and cvs too are trying to portray her victim only completely sweeping under the carpet what a low life she herself has been and wronged so many people🤢
