Ranveer Dippy start shooting for Shudddhi very soon

When Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Kham, the original choices for the film Shuddhi', walked out of the project, Ranveer Singh's name came into place as the male lead replacement. At the time, producer Karan Johar said that nothing further had been decided on the cast and the conversation seemed to stop there but speculation inevitably continued. Now, it seems that Singh has officially given his nod to being in the film, BizAsia has learnt.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Singh will be returning to Mumbai soon and will then meet for a finalisation meeting with Johar and director Karan Malhotra following on from a meeting with them last week in which he agreed to do the film. A source confirmed, "Karan has zeroed down on Ranveer." It is thought that the film will go on the floors soon.
It seems Singh's career is on the up once more as he is also rumoured to have been in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Bajirao Mastani'. What is also a bonus is that Johar is looking to sign Deepika Padukone as female lead which will see their real-life magic on screen again after their sizzling chemistry in last year's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela'.
