even if a child hates any of his/her parents...it should taught how to respect elders...not what adi is doing to his father...

he is a father...noone can deny...thats the fact...as a father he should teach his son some manners and shout at him..discipline him where he likes it or not even though he is poison by some creeps...till now raman has only shouted at ruhi...but never once to adi...is he some god...raman needs to learn the real meaning of being a father...he is still naive when it comes to adi and let his son humiliate and insult him...fathers don't behave such a way...let his son/daughter insult and humiliate him

even if father-daughter and father-son doesn't share a good rapport...they are still bounded by respect...

why i am saying this...i have gone through this phase in my life...i don't share good rapport with my father though he loved me alot...but then i never humiliate him...never insult him...never taunt him...i respect him becos he is my father...i got to know that i loved him actually after he died...during his funeral...its just that i could not realise it and didn't know how to express it when he was alive...and i have this regret till now when now i am 26 yrs old...

i agree its high time to teach aditya a lesson...i feel ishita can improve him..!!! omg sweetie...sorry to hear that..i know it feels...i always fight with my dad...n still i fight..but i love him dont know how to express i feel shy to exprss..dont know y but now i understood..its high time i must express my love towards him...thankU @mages😳

i too totally agree but i wouldnt say that his care for Adi is wrong. let him care and do anything but what that more matters is his Ruhi who only truely loves and trusts his dad. Raman should now learn to atleast save Ruhi from shashok and not let her go from his eyesight, as u never know what they will do.
Also i think now that Adi is no more with him he has realised Adi's value and soon he will REALISE RUHI'S VALUE TOO. i wish its not too late for him by the time he does realise RUHI'S VALUE.

there is a limit on bitterness...no matter how much poison is filled...broken family is not an excuse...whether hate him or love him...raman is his father...show some respect

no child will send his/her father to jail no matter how much the kid hates his father or has been poison abt him...

I hope he changes but I doubt

I don't think Raman should pay less attention to any child. Those are his children at the end of the day, they both deserve the same attention. Although, I do feel that Ruhi deserves a little more attention from Raman. I understand his feelings though, he hasn't seen his child in a long time.

on light note seems adi is like son of romi lol.seems like chachu pe gaya lol.sick mind covers with manners type lol.

on serious note
I think both d kids need raman attention.raman has to concentrate more on kids n ishita n get over shagun asap for his n his loved ones good.parents love is unconditional n takes a chance tat means they concentrate more on sick kid n treat him so tat he get well soon n healthy.in adi case a chance has to be taken n needed immediate attention n see if curable.nothing wrong in trying n rest adi's fate.

I feel it depends on adi's extend to revenge his own father...if the limits is crossed...he is gone too far from raman...very far...even if he turns back...noone will be seen not even his father

there is a limit in tolerance...even if its parents...when a child crosses his/her limits...the parents can't do much except to leave it to fate...adi is a spoilt brat...ill-mannered kid...I hope he learns his lesson n come back to his father

I could see many are supporting adi becos he is brainwashed by creeps...once he will create havoc Ishra n ruhi lives...everyone opinion will change

this kid is definitely a big time trouble...the main antangonist that will turn bhalla's family upside down...

its high time cvs concentrate on Ishra-ruhi bonding n tone down adi-shashok nonsense

Great post. Rather busy for the next two days, and therefore unable to give this the response it deserves. However, for whatever it is worth, here is my 2 cents worth:

You are absolutely correct in suggesting this. Raman gets very emotional when he thinks of his broken marriage and his son. The reason he wants to bond with Adi is that he is far away from him, whereas Ruhi grew up with him. It is always easy to take for granted what is right in front of you, while pining for what is out of reach. This is a natural tendency, and Raman appears to be trapped in it. Further, as long as Adi was in the hostel, it was out of sight, and out of mind in a sense, but it is very hard to ignore the bonding that one wishes for, especially when Adi is in the same town. Also, Adi has been playing a cat and mouse game with Raman, and reeling him in only to make him feel horrible, and Raman is not yet used to it. Hopefully after the unforgettable 11th birthday party celebration, Raman's brain will return to him at the eleventh hour and keep him from losing his self esteem further for a cause that he cannot win.

Hiii There :D

Wow! You have made a powerful post and have made really strong statements.

I am so glad you made the comparison of the Parent teacher meeting witht his birthday party. The only thing I will say about that is that you don't realize the value of something unless you lose it. Raman doesn't seem like the man who enjoys the moment while it lasts, he is more of the kind of person who reels and rue's about the past and the moments he wish he had. But I think slowly, and definitely with Ishita's help, he will begin to enjoy his life with Ruhi and the moments he has with her.

Your comment about Adi being Ashok Khanna's son send a mini pang through my heart. SO true!! Children are a result of the environment they are brought up in... Adi is brough up around conniving, ingenuine people and it shows through him so clearly. I am still amazed, like a lot of you, that Adi is capable of these thoughts at such a young age. Gosh this kid needs love and nurturing, and not consoles and video games! This boy is as damaged as Raman is!!!!! I agree, I would be much happier with Raman if he would stop overlooking all of Adi's mistakes. Yes, his and Adi's relationship is very delicate at this point, and Raman feels like one mistake he makes can ruin whatever litte is there between him and Adi. But by overlooking how Adi talks and treats him, Raman is making a bigger, worser monster of his son. I wish Raman can realize the power he, as a father, can and does have over his son and that he has the right to discipline his child.

I agree, Raman definitely needs to spend more of his time and give his attention to Ruhi. But I don't think he should totally give up on Adi. If Shagun and Ashok can have that kind of power over Adi to turn him against his dad, then Raman and Ishita can and will have the same amount of power to show Adi what it means to be loved and love. It reminds me of one of my favoritestestest quotes in the world by Nelson Mandela

"People learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite"!!!

I don't want Raman to give up on Adi. I want both of these kids to grow up in loving, un-materialistic home and have a happy, whole-some childhood!!! That is how this story should end!
