Everyone is frustrated with the delay in SR, in fact more than Asad is.😆
But, let's consider things from Asya's POV:
Ladies first, so let us peep into Zoya's mind:
1. She had given up on her search for Abbu, just to be with Asad.
2. And on the day of her nikaah, she finds a clue that may lead to her abbu. What should she make of it?
3. For her, this is the last chance, they have tried everything, searched streets, posted snaps on net, distributed photographs, but still no avail.
4. And in all this, she is emotionally disturbed trying to put up a farce of normalcy, but in reality she is disturbed. And in such a disturbed state, her not pushing for SR is understandable.
Now, coming to Asad:
1. Remember the number of times he tried to say ILU to Zoya? Remember the number of times he tried to get married to Zoya? And now you are going to remember the number of times he tries for SR. He is a man who has never got anything in life easily. His life is another name for Struggle.
2. Poor guy, he knows Zoya is going through a difficult phase. He himself is caught up with annual closing, the never ending family dramas, abbu on bed, bhai on run, step mom disapperared, step sister forever sick, lil sister in family way.
3. And to add to the long list of woes, his wife is being taken for a ride by a trickster and he is not able to stop the trickster or convince his wife.
4. And in such a disturbed state of mind, its only understandable that he goes off to sleep at the earliest opportunity.
