Achint is a beauty expert
The actor, who also runs a salon, generously gives make-up tips to her co-actors
Achint Kaur is the perfect vamp on screen but her off-screen persona comes as a pleasant surprise to her co-stars. Apart from being their confidante she has also donned the hat of a beauty consultant for the newcomers. Incidentally, Achint runs the beauty salon Beyond The Fringe.
Actor Mihika Varma, who plays Achint's sister Shreya in 'Virrudh' (Sony) says, "I didn't know Achint ma'am very well. I was in awe of her. But on the second day itself she offered to help me with my make-up. She also advised me regarding camera angles. It's very nice of her to help me. Achint ma'am is genuine."
Actor Pallavi Subhash aka Gauri of 'Karam Apnaa Apnaa' (Star Plus) too had a similar experience with Achint who co-stars with her in the show. Pallavi says, "When I began doing 'Karam…' I was pretty new to the industry. I didn't know the nitty-gritty of make-up. But Achint made it easy for me. She took the initiative and helped me with my make-up. She changed my entire kit. I am looking good and feeling confident thanks to her tips."
When contacted, Achint modestly said, "Anybody in my position would have done that for their co-stars. There's no harm in sharing know-how. I have spent several years in the industry and I know the importance of looking good."
