You know for all the predictability and slow pace etc some say, I have noticed something which is so utterly unique about RR and which i think is a reason some actually seem to feel its pace is slow, even when sometimes RR hurtles in breakneck speed like it did on Monday n Tuesday this week!
When this show started till the 12th episode happened - which was when the border clash happened, we knew just one thing - THAT the border clash will happen due to the promos. We did not know ANYTHING other than that, whether Varun will be innocent or if Paro sees anything, etc.. etc..So at that point we were watching a blind wall which was right in front of us.. we could all see the wall approaching closer and closer during the 1st 10 episodes n yet could not at all even make a single guess which turned out to be accurate! Making guesses and finding them being proven correct seems to be a thing of the past. And we were driven insane by needing to know what is on the other side of that wall that we felt that the wall was not approaching fast enough. And now also just see. We see the wedding approaching, all these weeks we did. (forget the spoilers, n the slack due to Ashish being sick, holi shoot etc etc) Yet even now do we even know in which freaking angle this show will move on?Too many pawns, knights, kings and queens r dragged forward in parallel tracks, some crisscrossing and tangled so much that we sense they are all gonna clash.. BUT its so diverse, that none of us can actually guess which way the fallout will be!! Not even what the exact casualties will be or where allegiances of ANYONE will be!So once again we r looking at another blind wall... the other side of which is an utter mystery to us. And we are feeling once again that the blind wall cannot approach fast enough! Making even such fast paced episodes feel slow cz we are so damn impatient to see the other side!!In my opinion its absolutely mind-blowing storytelling by the CVs likes of which I have never before witnessed on Indian TV!
