TELL ME WHAT THESE MEANS

Hello all ... watching some Hindi shows I see they use some phrases that when translated in English makes no sense...but are funny...So for those of you from India or who may know the meaning of these Phrases can you enlighten us? And share some of your own... I would try to come up with and English equvilant to them ...Ok So here is the 1st one...

HINDI PHRASE : " GHODEE BECH KE SOO RAHI HAIN..."

ENGLISH TRANSLATION: "SOLD THE HORSE AND SLEEPING" 😆😆

(What dose horse selling have to do with sleep ...how dose that make sense???)
Please enlighten me and then I will move on to the next one.

oh i forgot to sya yes its a lovely topic .. at this moment i have no ideas of words but i remember when translating stories of mansi i came across some words but i lost them now hehehehe

ok Ary yaar !! tum ligo ne Arabian nights me alibaba wali kahani nahi padhi usme bhi jab choro ka sardar alibaba ke ghar khane par aata hai to wo kehta hai ki wo khane me namak nahi khayega..aur isi baat se marjeena ko us par doubt hota hai..
