II3 VS. Saregama

Hi guys...

I am in USA and I am so excited that II3 is airing this very friday...if I am not mistaking it is the same day that saregama will be aired. For obvious reasons the timing are different, but what if they both came on same time. Which musical show would you prefer watching? Comment on your like(s) or dislike(s) on the both shows.

For me: I am looking forward to II3 because of the judges (i.e. Javed Akhtar), if you have seen Fame Gurukul you would know what I mean.

II is shown in a larger than life scale and the performances are outstanding.

To me, (note: opnion) saregama has lost it's jist by trying to be a performer base show...if you look at them performing you can tell it is rehearsed and most contestants were not comfortable dancing and being glamored. And one thing disturbed me was the judges were not happy with each other. It was a competition but the whole mahasangram seemed staged. The judges became rivarlies (even Ismael and Himesh started feuding). When Ismael knew his best contestant lost, he threaten to leave the show only to come back the next day. And no doubt his lectures and threat made him the winner. I have too many complaints from Saregama...

All I hope that Indian Idol 3 brings out a better singers/performers since two of the shows will be fighting for audiences' TRP and votes!

im really lukin 4ward 2 watch II3 because yh cuz ov javed akhtar n i think i dunno lyk II3 more thn saregamapa..yh i agree with u there II participents' performances r outstanding n lyk the way the judges jugde them..n im soo gonna watch this spe. cuz ov hussain..cant wait

i'll be watching indion idol.....i just love watching II i have never been saregama fan so defanatly II....especially now because of Javed akhtar he is sooo funny in his own way 😛

I would like to clear a mistake here.

Actually II3 & Zee SRGMP won't fight for TRP.

In fact Star Plus's Voice Of India & Zee SRGMP will fight for TRP.

Here are the timings :

II3 : Fri-Sat, 9 pm to 10 pm

Star's VOI & ZEE SRGMP : Fri-Sat, 10 pm onwards!

I hope this clears the confusion a bit!!

Even i m really excited for both SRGMP Challenge 2007 and II 3. But i think that II 3 is starting on Saturday may 5 in US. maybe i m mistaken but that's what the commercial said. :)

IMO - quality singers have always been produced by SRGMP than II.. Just my thoughts 😊 Ya, now that Gajji is not thr in Zee, wl hv to look for the competition in quality of singing talents being produced by the three.. 😊

i agree with anuji😳.....n i'll be watching all 3 shows,my fav.SRGMP on zee,SRGMPDHNS on star plus n yes II3 on sony..........aur jiski quality acchi hogi usko follow karenge😆😆😆............n most definately Gajji ka SRGMPDHNS on star plus sabse best rahega...........just my thoughts😳😊

i have watched both indian idols...the 1st season was gr8 but 2nd season in terms of singers was a huge disappointment...yes u can like someone for looks, cuteness etc etc but singing wise there were only amey n karunya who were good...

on the other hand..i never follwd saregama regularly but for whatver i watched..they had some amazing singers rite from vineet, himani to nihira n hemachandra...

so i do think that saregama has better talent always...just my view... 😊

In that case I would have swtiched back and forth until one of the show makes me addict or may be some contestant ...U never know what you gonna like ..sometimes singing sometime smile sometime face😆 😆 As such I like both shows and good they came up with different timings
