I guess where I live crap like this don't happen like Mil control their Dil lives and DIL are so dumb they can't speak up for themselves. I quit watching this show until the girl has some gust and put them in their places. We should have respect for our elders but we should not let them control our lives n same goes for our spouse. My husband stops me from visiting my patents please... Can't stand this show and from what I see 95% of the Indian soap are the same crap where the MIL rule the house n their lives. No offense maybe that's what happens in Indian but I can't stand it.

I think this show was written when the writer was half a sleep never seen such a thrash and they all going gaga over sams character that hes more real sorry to say its not
His character isnt real no wonder this show isnt doing well as all makers are doing is glorifying bullying as sam is a bully and its in bad taste to promote bullying it destroys many lives

Plus all this sam ranting and raving is getting very repetitive and tedious and really boring on top his over the top dialogues give you nothing but headache please show bit of humanity in this bully

I really like the show! First they show the problem which is Samrat and then they show the solution which is Urmi. I like the way the are showing everything and proving Samrat everytime wrong while in his world he thinks he is always right! Such men do exist. Why running from the reality. This is is suposed to be watched and learn those things which Samrat isn't doing like first of all Loving family ur and wife. If men learn to become like Samrat by watching the show then I suggest them to never watch a show!

For few years I have not seen show like this. As mentioned in earlier posts about same drama..I don't think so. This show is not between mil and dil drama. Sams mom has very diff role. She is a mom who is suppressed under her own son who she has only spoiled. There is social message for the newly married girls who had to keep quiet in their sasurals...how the transition from a bechari girl to a strong girl...how that girl becomes strong against her chauvinist husband,...My roots are from India,,,where I am...whats happening in the show is impossible...but according to my nani back in india,,,says this is happening from since she was young and still happening. Only story of DAK is not exploited in real lives. People suppress apni bahu and ghar ki baat ghar me.
For showing reality I applaud for makers of this show 👏 and
for taking up the grey and controversial role of Samrat I applaud Mohit Malik👏

There are husbands like Samrat, not just in India, but all over the world, he is a narcissist, and such traits are not limited to one country but seen in every country! there are people who are control freaks everywhere in this world, its not a cultural thing its a trait, a personality trait!
There are moms like Shashi who want to look nice and act nice to stay on someone's good side, but secretly have their own set of ideals (they are just weak)!

There are women who are weak in this world who dont have the courage to speak up, so you can find all these characters all across the globe! We would like that it didnt happen but there are people like this, sure it may not happen in most households but come on im sure you know someone who resembles samrat or urmi or shashi, etc
