Hey we're back as we promised , hope you like the update.

Chapter 4 : The Victims

Fingers closed around his ankle.

Ayaan screamed.

Ayaan woke up with a jerk, he was sweating and breathing heavily. He looked around and saw that everyone were still sleeping. His throat was very dry, but he didn't dare to go downstairs, so he tried to force himself to sleep.

The boys woke up and checked the time, it was 2:00pm.

Asad : " Good morning, boys! "

Arjun : " Let's go out and get ready to explore this Hotel. "

Asad : " Where is Ayaan? "

Arjun : " I don't know, maybe he went downstairs. "

Asad and Arjun went to Arnav's room, to wake them up. They entered the room and see khushi alone.

Asad : " Hey Khushi Good Morning. " He said looking around and searching for Arnav.

Khushi : " Good morning and what you looking for? "

Arjun : " We were looking for Arnav. "

Khushi : " Oh, he is in the girls room. "

Arjun : " Why is he there? "

Khushi : " That's because, he has a habit to wake Zoya himself. "

Asad : " When me and Zoya get married, is Arnav seriously going to come in our room, just to wake Zoya up? "

Arjun burst out in laughter and Khushi gave him an ' shut up ' look.

Khushi : " You know how much Arnav loves Zoya. "

Arjun : " I was just joking. we all know how much he loves her."

Zoya opened her eyes and saw her brother smiling at her.

" He never fails to wake me up. " She thought to herself and smiled.

Zoya : " Good morning Bhai! " She said in a chirpy voice.

Arnav : " Morning, my little angel. How was your sleep ? "

Zoya : " It was fine, I don't like it here though. " She said looking sadly at her brother.

Arnav : " Zoya if you don't like it, then we can leave from here." he said looking concerned.

Zoya smiled at her brother's concern for her.

Zoya : " No Bhai we'll stay here and anyways everyone loves this place! So it's fine and by the way where is my Bhabs? " She said standing on her bed and putting her hand on her hips.

Arnav : " She's in the other room. "

Zoya got down and went to the other room. Arnav turned around and saw Humaira and Purvi still sleeping.

Arnav : " Girls come on! Wake up! " He said making the girls come out of their sleep.

Zoya came to Khushi's room and saw that Asad and Arjun were there as well. She went to Asad and hugged him tightly and gave a little peck on his cheeks, and went to her Khushi to give her a hug as-well.

Arjun : " Hey what about me? "

Zoya : " How can I forget you Arjun? " she went to him and gave him a big hug as well.

Everyone was standing downstairs, as there was no where to sit. A sudden thought hit everyone and realised that someone was missing.

Humaira : " I have a feeling someone is missing. " She said looking confused.

Asad : " Yeah same here. "

Purvi : " Guys it's Ayaan, he's not here. "

Arjun : " We didn't see him in the morning as well, so we thought that he might be downstairs."

Asad : " We should go and check the rooms. "

Everyone went up to the boys room and saw that Ayaan was sitting on the couch, reading a book. Which said 'Hidden Souls' on it.

Arnav : " Ayaan why are you reading a book?" They all looked at him in shock. He was not the type of guy who would read books.

FlashBack:

Ayaan was looking for the book, he read in his dream. He was searching very quickly, when his eyes fell on the book. He took it out and read it. It was totally different from what had happened in his dream. the man's name was William and he was in a totally different situation as well.

Present:

He was reading the book when everyone came, so he stopped reading the book and turned towards them.

Ayaan : " Oh it's because i was getting bored, so just picked it up." He lied.

They all explored the hotel and went to check each and every corner. They were all really tired after a long time of exploring.

12:00 - Boys room:

Everyone had retired to their room and were getting ready to sleep.

" Where is Asad and Arjun?" Ayaan thought to himself.

Ayaan was in a deep thought, when he heard Arnav screaming.

He rushed downstairs, screaming his name and when he found him, Arnav was pointing to a floating knife in the air, around five seconds later, the knife dropped to the ground.

Obviously creeped out by the occurrence of the knife, he headed back upstairs and took one last peep in the room.

Only five minutes before, the room was empty, but right then the room had a carved message in the wall.

" Weeelcooome. "

He exited the room and headed into the bathroom, where he dropped to his knees and started to vomit.

Hanging from the bathroom curtain was the girl, rope tied around her neck, with a thick gash in her neck and her face was totally scarred, she was wearing her white dress, which was completely draped in blood.

Ayaan, still heaving looked up and saw the girls eyes flicker open.

He screamed and ran downstairs where Arjun was laughing.

Arjun : " Got ya! " He chuckled, as Asad appeared from the room upstairs.

Ayaan : " Wow guys I actually thought that was real!" Asad, Arnav and Arjun high-fived.

Asad : " Now that's what's called a revenge! "He said while still laughing.

Ayaan : " So I guess you distracted me with the knife, to give Asad enough time to carve the message into the wall but one thing confuses me,"

"What?" Arjun, Arnav and Asad said in unison.

Ayaan : " How did you get that dummy in the bathroom to do that stuff ?, it looked pretty realistic to me."

Arjun, Asad and Arnav looked at each-other in horror.

"What dummy?" Arjun asked.
