It would have been interesting to see Farhan Akhtar and Shahrukh Khan, the director-actor duo of Don, coming together on big screen for the first time in Raees, but we hear that Farhan has opted out of the movie.
Even though Raees is Farhan Akhtar's own production, he can't help but dissociate himself from the movie because of date issues. Reportedly, Raees will go on the floors around mid-2014, and at that time Farhan is supposed to shoot for Bejoy Nambiar's film. Since his dates are clashing, he has walked out of 'Raees'. Also being the producer of the film he can't keep Shahrukh Khan waiting.
If SRK plays a bootlegger in the film, Farhan was supposed to essay the role of a cop. Now, the makers have to start a fresh hunt for the second lead role. Who do you think will suit the role of a cop opposite Shahrukh?
