I get you. I agree they are trying to show a brave story but it would be great if we could have a fair mix of positive stories as well. Even when the hero is the main one fighting for something, it most of the times is b'coz his heroine was mistreated. I loved that movie Dor-such a sweet story. Tho' filaal is not my fav movie, I loved that Zoya addressed something different. ZNMD was such a disappointment coming from Zoya. Why didn't she make it a fun adventure with gals!!

EV is the best of the lot.

Mitr, The Friend was also a very sweet woman centric film about a housewife living abroad.

I could add some more but can not remember at the time. There are definitely more movies done by Smita Patil, Shabana Azmi, deepti Naval, Rekha, madhubala, nutan (bandini), sridevi that can be added to the list to make it more promising as we are talking about all time ten best women centric movies.
