Thank you Diya, for this lovely take.
Secrets just keep tumbling out. Greed is not the only driving force for Mohini, there is sibling rivalry, jealousy and maybe even humiliation. The creatives have left us to guess the cause of humiliation for now.
Tejawat does not know all about his wife's previous life but revelation of a son does not perturb him too much until the name is told. Now his interests have greater priority over his wife's long lost son.
Laila continues with her threats after her persuasions fail. As I posted some where else the number of scorned women are increasing in the show.
PaRud scene was short but clearly established Rudra's growing obsession with Paro, which even the latter and others are getting aware of. The number of flashbacks seemed a bit forced, wished they had focused on Ashish's expressions more. Seen woefully little of Paro this week, hope she gets more space in the coming episodes.
Overall a good episode and am glad this show is balancing all the characters and subplots and the entire burden is not on the leads so far. Looking forward to see Mohini and Tejawat joining hands, this will be one formidable team and something I have been waiting to see.
Thanks, U!
After the PaRud scene, which was my favorite (any scene with Paro in it is automatically my favorite 😉), the Mohini Dilsher scene was the most interesting ... that in an episode filled with good scenes, says something. The Mohini-Dilsher-Mala story gets more convoluted ...a story filled with mystery, greed, envy, hate, sibling rivalry ... but such a deep rivalry and hate that Mohini is ready to take a life? 😲 She just crossed from grey to black in the precap ... on the other hand, the Thakur lightened a few shades. The Mohini Tejawat team will be formidable indeed!
Ashish was a little off in the first scene ... if he was unwell, that explains it ... I also felt the required intensity of panic was not quite there. Sanaya's Paro balanced it with her cool, delicate unconcern, which played up his panic by contrast and made it appear more than it was ... also made it appear foolish, which it was meant to be. Even in his scene with Laila he was a little off ... for once, Laila was spot on ... I felt sorry for her today, when she begged Rudra to give her a chance.
Rudra's obsession with Paro is growing ... he loses all focus when she is around, she is the only thing on his mind. This happens to the detriment of his thinking ... I wonder if this is intentional. Mohini kaki was far more focussed on the task on hand and successfully found the stalker ... of course, she didn't have the added distraction of Laila to contend with. Laila is bad news for Rudra in more ways than one.
Very brief glimpses of Paro this week ... I hope we see more of her. While the entire ensemble cast is excellent, Sanaya lights up the screen like no one else does ... The other characters are all larger than life, Paro's quiet charm and more subtle character is needed to balance the drama. And Maithili too ... these two ladies are beautiful in their grace and dignity.
