So who is lying Sonam or Deepika?

One says she's been in talks with SB for the last 4 months and the other(read PR) says she was the first choice and turned it down. The problem here is time doesn't add up! when was she offered? I thought she was in talks with them around her birthday that's why Sooraj was at her birthday party. So were they both getting considered and SB picked Sonam over Deepika or was Deepika the first choice and she rejected it?

Which theory is more believable and Who should we believe?

I would obviously believe sth which is said by a person's own mouth rather than PR

Just like she couldn't do Fast and Furious because she didn't have dates, she couldn't do SB's movies because she didn't like the script... or was it because she didn't have dates? Both versions were put out.

If I am gonna believe Deepika's PR then I must also believe she is doing 9 big films such as Peeku, Bajirao Mastani, Shuddhi, Excel/Aamir's next, Salman/Kabir's next and Aditya Chopra's next. HEck she is doing all big projects announced

^^ Deepika's own words.This is from november2013 and her birthday was somewhere in January (2014). and Rajashri's tweet about both Deepika & Sonam shows both were considered.

A public doesn't mean it was directors choice. Nevertheless. they do such polls daily. When this film was announced they did open poll and even made videos on it. Then posted Madhuri Vs Kareena video.
