The interaction between an arrogant Akbar and a determined Pratap was much better than I had anticipated based on the promo.

Well, I have learned a lesson, I will not make predictions based on the promo. They can be misleading.

Tomorrow, promises to be interesting, Pratap will finally meet Meerbai. Let's see what happens.

Jalal finally sees the devotion and divinity of Meerabai, very nice scene! he was so overwhelmed and then the CVs brought back the old Jalal!!

Ok so did someone not teach jalal that prasad is prasad, and you dont say it bad or good, you just take it as it is regardless of what happens (ie- argument with pratap)

so our non-veg traveler (jalal) goes on a hunt to find the nearest meat market, oh oops this is Dwarka not Delhi! so he goes hunt in the forest for a fresh deer!

So Pratap follows him! and our hero saves the deer twice!!! I was skeptical about the scene between Jalal and Pratap when I watched the precap but now I dont mind that they showed it because who doesnt want to see Pratap's mad skills! well it was a nice scene because both of them had now found an enemy that was worth the enemity, barabari ka shatru!!

Pratap says he will stop him everytime he does something wrong, well Pratap never bowed down to Jalal and Jalal never defeated pratap directly!

pratap stopping jalal from hitting him was symbolic in that no one can lay a hand on Rajputana while Pratap is there!

Precap- Pratap asks Meerabai to come home to Mewad, lets see what happens (well we know lol)

Mirabai is the Saint I respect the most. She was a brave woman in a man's world. She always did what she felt was the right thing to do.

There must have been tremendous pressure on her to commit Sati after the death of her husband. But she resisted and spent the rest of her life in the service of god.

I wish this Meerabai track would continue for a bit longer. She is an ideal and her story is worth living in all it's detail.
