The Kabra sister

It looks like she has been suddenly introduced into the story to make the Kabra parents realize that they are so wrong in defending their rapist son Saurabh while blaming the honest and righteous elder son Vivek. Probably their daughter will bring home the point as to what happens when a rapist goes free and an innocent girl ends up bearing the flak of society. I only hope the writers do not show another rape just to drive this point home. But I see no other reason for bringing in Rakhi. What do you all say?

One reason for bringing in this new character is definitely to make the parents understand the girl's point-of-view.

The sister does not know why saurabh is in jail, I think once explained to her she will be disgusted and will support Vivek and make her parents understand.

I don't think this Kabra sister is like Sanchi.
