Washington, March 2 (ANI): Julie Delpy has claimed that the Academy Awards are run by a bunch of crusty white dudes who take bribes for votes.

The 44-year-old French-American actress, who has been nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for 'Before Midnight' with Ethan Hawke, said that the awards are meaningless because the voters are "90 percent% white men over 70 who need money", TMZ reported.

The '2 Days in New York' star said that the Awards don't mean anything to her as they are rigged.

Delpy added that 90 percent of movies made in Hollywood are "crap".

🤣 EXACTLY what I thought too!!

Some lobbying & rigging is fine, but at the same time I do feel that the Oscars are the cleanest award ceremony in the world!

The most deserving do win. 👏

Of course, they are rigged. I never believed they are not. Even US president elections are rigged I heard.

Yes, they are. Not used to , but happens from recent times. There are so many things so evil happen, but they are all so hidden and done extremely secretly under being such fair rules or having democratic country disillusioning almost all people. There are so many videos and articles claiming it. But countries like India, Pakistan etc are easily seen unfair because they are so obvious.

Have you watched Scandal? It's inspired by all what happens in US government. The secretary, who used to work with Bush, is the producer of the show I think and the show's main character is inspired and based on her.

leo deserved this tym best actor award. academy hates him so much n will never give him his well deserved trophy what a shame🤢 he do diverse movie while other top actors do same superhero types one he is d only actor who do diverse roles😉
