But if we make educated and sincere efforts, it won't be so hard to achieve.

Educated and sincere effort - within paradim of political thought process of countries surging to establish themselves as super powers - yes sounds hard to achieve.

Co-ordinating time and budget and ideas is no big deal in this hi tech world where outsourcing has got people to co-ordinate globally on several issues on a minute by minute basis.

That was a true statement couple of years ago, seeing the current situation when we are heading to globalization and cost or say overhead in coordinating the outsourcing efforts is forcing think tanks to reconsider outsourcing. Simple Example/Scenario : Cost of dollar is at lows, cost of labor in China/India has not come down - 5 resources at the cost of 40$ per hour Vs 5 resources + 1 resource at client location for coordination + 1 resource in China/India + infrastructure + communication cost + difference in work culture. I know not relavent but explaining with a tangent why I made that statement.

Feeling of competetion will be lost, very true- but can we nations not grow up just a bit on these very PARTICULAR space issues related to water on mars and life too 😉 (j/k).. ? .. is that too ideal to ask for too? So sending man to moon before china- does it really make us / japan proud? We could all save up that money for making a block buster drug in each country (qt's one track mind back in drug-research, sorry! 😆)

😕 how to explain it, basically too ideal to ask for... another tangent UN was formed for unified motto to bring worl peace. Is the world at peace? Can we think of a reason why?

QT-2 - yes, but again, we are speaking of their SPACE programs here. Those are definitely high tech and above the infrastructure and similar issues.. what i implied is in this age, if we plan moon and mars missions, we can co-ordinate WITHIN EARTH.. 😆😆😆

can they do it, certainly yes, Humans can collabrate, There is collabration for international space station

but it cannot be the UN, they cant even get their act together on a life or death situation like Darfur or oil for food programs, this much money, yeah they will buy toilets seats each worth $2000😉

yeah, so again, another logically skeptical trust issue.. 😳. I understand that as well and agree, but then I once again question the worth of these missions. If we cannot handle anything on earth, why the qwest for beyond? as if we can control and manage that anway! 😕
