Kumud applies haldi on Saras's hand

Kaisa rishta hai yeh

Aur kaisa pyaar hai

Jo khud hi dard deta hai

Aur khud hi marham lagata hai

Jab chot Saras ko lagti hai toh dard Kumud ko hota hai

Ussse nazar churati hai, aur ussi par nazar rakhti bhi hai

Aur Saras - Kumud ko na keh sakta hai

Par uske kamarband ki awaz ka jadoo unsuna nahi kar sakta

Aur de deta hai apne dukhte haath Kumud ke pyaar bhare haath mein

Kumud - Kya Maine bhi tumhe itna hi dard diya hai

Aur Kumud ka dil ro utha

Aur usne dikhaya Saras ko

Apna saara dard, apne saare ghaav

Jo Saras ne diye

A scene which was so gentle, yet so intense

So romantic, yet so full of pain

A scene where ehsaas flowed between them

One moment like a gentle breeze,

And the next like a raging storm

Kumud applies haldi soothingly one moment

Forgetting all but his pain

And the very next minute

When he reminds of her crushed dreams

She uses the same haldi to hurt, burn and sear

Sharing her pain with him

The very beautiful pool side

Picture perfect Saras and Kumud

Elegance in every frame

Beauty in every posture

And flawless expressions all through

This easily was among the best of Saraswatichandra !

Arshi, thanks for bringing up this beautiful scene in a much more beautiful way !!

It's hard to find these kind of scenes any where else.

Feel so privileged to get chance to watch all these wonderful Samud moments.

Hope we get to see same old Samud intensity back.

Pataa hai Arshi... Mujhe humeshaa lagtaa hai k Saras se zyaadaa Kumud kaa pyaar badaa hai... Kyonki apne pyaar ko harr haal me khush rakhnaa, usse dukh naa denaa bohot badaa waalaa pyaar hotaa hai... Par... Apne pyaar ko khud hi dukh denaa... Ke "ye lo... Main dukhi hu naa, toh tum bhi dukh le lo!" Ye waalaa pyaar sabse badhkar hotaa hai... Aisaa "mujhe" lagtaa hai!
I know... Meri soch ajeeb hai! 😆 par sirf kahaaniyon tak hi aisi soch! 😃

Kumud ki shadi ke baad Jo sab Saras ne kiya, woh uska pyaar dikhata hai

Aur shadi ke Pehle, Kumud ka pyaar bada lagta tha

Shayad dono ke pyaar ki koi bhi thah nahi

Bas kabhi ek ki Agni pariksha , aur kabhi doosre ki

Dono ne hi apna pyaar nibhaya hai , poori tarah !

Waise Aapki soch ki daad deti hoon, par jaisa aapne kaha

Yeh soch kahaniyon mein hi achchi lagti hai

Arshi I am loving the YT links!! this is one of my all time fave scenes! Gautam's expressions, the hurt, the pain in his eyes...especially when he says that is this how much I hurt you.

These episodes, these moments..feels like it was an entirely different serial compared to the cr4p we being dished out these days.

I loved the scene after I watched second time and third. First, I thought she was harsh on him. It was just a rejection after all. Lots of proposals are rejected.

But what I liked was how Kumud used it to show her pain. Well, she doesnt need to know what he has in mind. From her perspective it did give her pain. Because her dream which she thought was going to be realized was shattered. That too in a way that she didnt expect. And Kumud Sundari never faced rejection so far. So her pain was so real and believable. It was a beautiful portrayal of her ego and her pain.

Not just her rejection, it was the pain her father would be put through too!

And the conflict of emotions was what was so beautifully brought out Santhi

Kumud's anger which she struggles to hold on to, because her feelings threaten to overcome that

And Saras's struggle with his attraction for Kumud - he came to this house beckoned by an unknown attraction, and found more love than he could imagine from her family, and she was more alluring than he could imagine!

Kaash woh ego wali Kumud aaj bhi hoti!

Your list is alluring too, so tempting , I go and see these scenes and itch to write about them!

So I just couldn't help but make this post, didn't even wait to discuss with you!

At first glance I thought what another haldi scene then realised it is that heatwrenching scene where Saras expressions made my heart swell and my throat ache. So beautiful it was. Really SC was so beautiful, Nazar lag gaye hum sab ke.
