A show stopper or a show stealer? ...Sanchi is capable of both !

She enters Jaitser with her nose-up attitude which is marked by demeaning Anandi as an illiterate village brute when she finds her washing the dirt on the face of a small boy. Her skit on the love of AnSh almost stopped the breath of Dadisa! She came very close to stopping the show for Anandi-Shiv romance then and there ! Her intermittent intervention in the lives of Anandi and Shiv ...her reminding Anandi as an ex- wife of Jaggiya frequently...postponed/made difficult the marital bliss for AnSh...could have even ended their relation but for the enormous maturity shown by both of them.

Then her loud expression of love for Jaggiya ... obsessive nature of a narcissist at core ,her misdeeds towards Ganga and her son signify her attempt to steal that love brewing between J&G.

Her criminal tendencies towards Anmol and even against the yet to be born child of JaGan , show her determination to kill the unwanted(in her view) relations and stop those shows of expressions of love

The BV makers are now trying to deal with her here as an innocent naajuk kali (whereas, in fact, she has been a cunning lady) by projecting her rape as akin to a wrong surgery done under the cover of Anaesthesia! Here the focus has shifted from rape to deceit !

Sanchi takes her habit of late night pajama parties to the streets and to others' houses when she walks out in her nightdress late in the night and in the final count, tries to steal the verdict on the legal issue by delivering some sweeping statements to Mr. Kabra !

BVs miserably failed here to project a socially relevant subject in a sensible manner ...instead, made a mockery of the issue when Sanchi says - I am ready to withdraw my case if you admit your guilt in front of my family ! What she or rather the creative writers are thinking is any body's guess.

I am not sure about her being a show stopper or stealer but definitely she has hogged the limelight for a long time now. I am recollecting Sanchi's long list of evil deeds as I read your post, some I almost forgot.

I don't think Sa is either a show stopper or a show stealer. To me she was mostly an irritation.

However I was more interested in seeing a how a DRD rape case is handled in general for any victim rather than how a rape case for 'Saanchi' is handled.

I was seeing Saanchi's rape as a completely different social issue to saanchi the negative character.

But CVs ruined it all by the absolute lame presentation of court-room scenes. And I now realise that this issue was only to redeem Sa.

Was this half baked recipe of rape the only way to garner some sympathy from the viewers for Sanchi? That too in unconscious state when she can't even fight for herself ! well, if they had to show rape at all, atleast the case could have been handled nicely, logically.

You are right, the focus has virtually shifted from rape to deceit. Now, Sanchi desperately wants her family to know that she has not fallen so low, to get back their trust, else she is afraid to lose this support for ever. In a way if you see it, she is not wrong as well, she has lost hopes of winning this case, so she is begging Saurabh to atleast let her family know that she was not so wrong. The bigger mockery in my opinion is Kabra getting convinced by all this !
