At no point has it romanticized shlok's abuse of astha, NAs abuse of Anjali, or Abhays abuse of Jyoti, the way it was done in season one. So more power to EBP showing the truth without sugar coating or being apologetic about it 😊 And sorry if I offended you.

well OQ.. that was the ultimate love story wasnt it? tho i loved season one, i was not blind to the
fact that arnav was dysfunctional/ almost killed the heroine twice in the office and the factory.
called her a woman without character.. ( to me worse than any abuse or many abuse rolled into one😕😆
and constantly derided the poor background she came from.. all in the name of love... and it was not
a theme of abuse..
season 2 has very clearly a theme of abuse and it is being dealt with.. the bad part has to be shown
before how it is tackled.. if the makers of the show ar constantly bombarded with demands to
change it overnight i can understand their response of wait and watch or dont watch..,
and im sure true EBp lovers dont want the show to end in a fewi months..
and shlok has said a lot of things about women with chauvinist comments.. but never spoke lowly
about the or called them without character... and yes, he will go through redemption.. he has to
and he has to change.. and aastha is much stronger and more outspoken than the heroine of
season one who took a lot of rubbish and replied thru OTT rather than realistic behaviour...
and to that extent this love story is more realistic and more plausible than season one for sure

so i will wait and watch...lets see what happens

What I can't figure out is how people who never bother to make a new comment pop out of Oompa land to blast the show and pull it down... They all start" we are not regular viewers but" .. I guess EBP is really popular people find the need to pull it down..not once has the show tried to show that Shlok is right or Astha is right.. What is wrong has been said/ shown is wrong..I think we should all chill and allow the show to take its course.. Regular viewers can definitely air their views to the creative team... The others can please use the remote and take a take breath...😃

When I brought this forward on one of my posts, it was attacked and deleted by the IF as saying I am comparing the previous IPKKND to this one...But, it really disgusts me to see how the women are shown to be treated by each and every men in this show...
Isn't crime against women already enough in India, than you people need such shows to promote such behaviours...

In the name of entertainment, and making money, you can not support such inhumane behaviour towards women...

THIS SHOW IS PROMOTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN EVERY ASECT...I AM NOT SEEING ANY POSITIVE STEP BEING TAKEN SINCE THE SHOW STARTED TO MAKE THE SITUATION OF THE WOMEN BETTER...SO I AM EXACTLY WONDERING ABOUT THE MINDSET OF THE STORY WRITERS AS TO WHEN THEY PLAN ON SHOWING THAT, OR IS IT ALWAYS GOING TO BE WE DONT PROMOTE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, JUST WAIT AND WATCH...Its been too muchhh..
My younger brother yesterday itself, was like, didi, it seems like its legal in India to beat up women of the house...I was just like OMG, if this young guy is getting this message, I wonder what message is being sent to millions of people out there...

well i m a fan of this show...but i agree this show they r showing too much seriousness...difficult to see some scenes...
like hearing abhay beat jyoti with belt and then they even show abhay removing belt...i wish director stop showing such scenes...and yes v cant watch these scenes when kids r around...

jaya is the only one in the show which has been added to bring entertainment but not liked by audience...

actually most epi they keep on showing anjali or jyoti getting hit by domestic violence and both not doing anything about it...

i know directors will say wait and watch...

but it is already more than 6 months and this show is still same with regard to domestic violence...

and i do wonder about the title...like wht connection does it have with title iss pyaar ko kya naam doon...

they keep on showing domestic violence all the time...some scenes even i cant bear to see...specially jyoti scenes...

and its true wht shlok did to astha is infact not forgivable either...but CV's need to show some feelings from shlok side for astha

instead of always astha's feelings being shown...

this show is very very serious...i hope they bring some new character which can give some funny moments in the show

I agree wid all these answers and some ppl I'm not sayingu but a lot of ppl. R trying to put it down coz it's not like ipk1 and stuff but that's nor the point it's a different show and a different storyline wid different ppl and they r giving a really powerful message

Tbh I'm 16 and I used to watch ipk 1 when I was 14 now I'm not tryont to comparw butt then I see ppl do it so arnav has hurt Khushi many tomes more like manhandkinf but that didn't have abuse as a message but this season actually does and if u r talking about age it depends on ur self act mature be mature at the end of the day it's just a show that's trying y convey a message they are not trying to give a negative message out there to the viewers and about idj I read rape and stuff that's also the persons mentality like just be mature about it right. But then again if u still font like how the show is you can always watch another show.

Not to offend anyone, you may be right

But

This is my opinion from what I read.

No hard feelings mkay thanks for being honest is all I can say.
