First i want to say sorry to people i am going to offend...
i am not a regular viewer of this serial, as the other IPKKND
but , i don't regret that..
what i don't understand is how can this serial be allowed to show in prime time television
the only message they are sending is how to torture woman and use her .
as a woman, i cant think of any thing more heinous that happens with anjali/ashta or jyothi..
In my honest opinion, this is sending wrong message to guys and teenagers , whose mind can be influenced by seeing this and 1 out of 10 might find some pleasure in such activities , to get fun out of it.

In India, they rate sexual movies , but don't you think its high time, these genres should be rated.
this was said to be about a girl with modern views , but where are the views?
i cant see any change and situations are getting worse..
are they focusing more on torture? what is the message? , are they focusing more, because of TRP?
if so then its very bad news , that means people find entertainment in this torture, and might silently wish to do that in their mind..
who ever thinks, this is bad and must to stopped to show this is all wrong. i say good for you..
others needs to think a bit, as to why they don't think so?
So for all the teenagers who are watching this.. Please don't get pulled even a bit into these situations.. and parents who watch with teenagers, i would say talk to them and stop them until something good comes along..

I know this is just a serial and i should not be making such a big deal..
if so my question is why are we making such a big deal about 'A' movies and let everyone watch is , as after all, those are movies too and people should take it as movies rright????

last year, crime against women , was so high and the things that people do, makes me think how can they do that.. well inspirations can be from anywhere ..

there is no offense to actors in this.. but as a concerned citizen , i think the producers and Star must think about it and there should some change to this torture or stop this nonsense.

I agree with you. The other thing is that there is too much sadness in the serial. Like you I watch season 1 and watch this liked first one better but my point is I wish they made more funnier scenes and made it more happy scenes as well. Too depressing serial. I don't mind if I miss some episodes anymore. I also know the story was changed a lot from what it was suppose to be. No offence to any fans. I am a fan as well but this is certainly not my favourite show from all the shows I watch... I watch a lot of indian shows as well on various channels. I thought by now shlok would have been able to laugh a bit by now but no sign of it. Lol. They should show something different instead

The show is showing what happens in most homes and hopefully it would encourage women to be more stronger and to stand for themselves. I understand that it does not make for good viewing but the story must be told and I am sure that the end would be a happy one.

Exactly in this series has too much brutality towards women, but whether it should be swept under the carpet and say: We live in a dream world, and there is no brutality.

Do you think is it ok?

The first example is given to us in the series, Astha grew up in a family without brutality, grew up in a world of dreams and married to hell, and she did not know that there is a hell.

Most of us parents tell their children what is good and what is not, but do you know how many young people still make bad or raping a woman, in spite of warnings and education of parents.

This series is not easy to watch but I think that in itself it has a lot of potential that those villains, rapists and thugs, themselves recognized and seen in the right light.
To see that the monsters to others.

Perhaps some of these, which I counted, they come to the realization that the wrong way and the experience of enlightenment in itself, to turn and go, a good way.

this is the whole point of the show its showing domestic violence and how 2 overcome it, they are highlighting abuse 2 us,and obviously the characters are going 2 over come it but u have 2 give it time u cant just expect everything 2 be sorted out in like 1 epi maybe u can become a regular watcher and then see how these women overcome it anyway i love the serial it has a very different storyline

I see the views for this post and i am happy, i just want everyone to read it, so that they can control the tv in their house when young kids are viewing a husband beating his wife.
these things can scar and create an image in teenagers mind, without even their knowledge, some might find that its interesting to see woman under controlling men , as bondage excites some sadists..
that is where the message comes in place.. they should add a warning that, this is a mere story and encourage women to go to police or higher officials if they face such situations and this is a crime and a punishable offence.
and should stop the young generation from watching this.

population is high in India and public protectors can't be everywhere, god forbid if some screwed up guy sees this and get excited with the torture shown here, and looks for opportunity to try that to some one..even if its one case, it is someones daughter..
parents of girls should talk to them about the violence in our country and keep close relations with their daughters to open up about what happens during their day
if they feel open to their parents, they can monitor and give advice about any one they are attracted to It will help them to judge the situation and act accordingly, instead of being like 'Astha' who is a very bad example for girls, who got infatuated to a guy and did not listen to her parents and failed to understand his character.
