Today, we went back to where we had begun. Paro - the arrested criminal in -arms with the smuggling nexus. Rudra - the leading officer who went through a messed operation and saw Paro as the only solution to the infamous Baraat case. Their ORIGINAL relationship which needed only a court-martial threat to bring them out of their sympathy-empathy bonding that was happening.
Rudra, disturbed and in a tricky state of mind only needed a trigger to go all guns blazing on Paro. The Jallad mode switched on and how. Rudra walked into a Sooraj Barjatya situation and his throbbing mind did a "what an idea , Sirji". Maar do mauke pe chauka.
Paro, scared, terrified, tense and still playing ping-pong with what she thinks of Rudra was in for a rude shock when Rudra agreed to marry her. She really thought that Rudra will say no. Maybe. She was not even thinking that Rudra will use this thrown dice in his own favour and against her.
And before you cry WOLF... REMEMBER... From where we had begun, Paro was a criminal and Rudra the man of law. Opposite sides. Enemy lines. Bonding may have happened and feelings softened, but until this Criminal-Lawman knot stays, we will keep coming back to this step.
Rudra is on the edge now - almost finished and Paro is the only one who can prove that he was right - so he has rolled out the dice in the hope that Paro would rather embrace death than marry him. Paro thinks the same but who knows...waqt aur paansa kabhi bhi badal sakta hai.
