Surprise! Bet you guys weren't expecting another update so soon hehehe. Anyway, before I get to it, have a bit of a dedication first.

Kalyani (kals82), it seems your friends Juliet (Perfectionist2) and Simi (saida.m) love you very very very much! I got a request from Juliet to post a picture of Prasad that Simi found from the initial episodes of QH, just so you can put a face to your crush (and husband in my story!). Juliet also told me that you'd developed this crush in this FF, and that's really sweet of you (: So to return the kind gesture, here's Prasad, just for you! (:

And now, for the update!!

Yes Boss: Part 37

"I don't want to talk to you about anything, samjhe aap?" Zoya hissed at Asad as he dragged her towards his cabin door. He rolled his eyes and continued dragging her, his brute force way too much for her to counter. He pushed the door open and swung her in first, before entering the cabin himself and shutting it behind him, making sure to lock it.

"Uh, Mr Khan, I'm here," Prasad announced awkwardly, as he watched his boss and his boss' new wife enter the cabin, and lock it. Both of them whipped their heads in his direction at the same time, making the colour run from his face. Asad turned back to the cabin door and unlocked the door swiftly with a click.

"Kuch kaam tha Prasad?" Asad asked impatiently, as Prasad shuffled through the papers in his hand nervously, trying to hurry up. In the process, he dropped all the papers on the ground, earning a low growl of irritation from his boss.

"Haan woh, aapko kuch papers pass karne the. I'll just leave them on your desk... after I finish picking them up. Also, Mr Tripathi ka phone aaya tha, he said he couldn't get through to your mobile phone. He wants to know if the papers are ready to be collected, and he also asked if you were sure about what you were doing, or something along those lines," Prasad conveyed the message to Asad, as he picked up the last of the papers he had dropped and dumped them on Asad's table.

"Accha? Mere mobile ko kya hua? Alright thanks Prasad, I'll give him a call later," Asad dismissed Prasad, as he took his phone out of his pocket to check it. Zoya's eyes darted nervously from Asad's face, to Prasad's face, to the pile of papers on the table. He was really going to go through with this?! Prasad nodded in acknowledgment and quickly rushed out of the cabin.

"Mr Khan, Prasad kuch important baat kar raha tha aur aapko aapke phone ki pari hai?!" Zoya gasped, flabbergasted at how nonchalant Asad was about all of it. Asad looked up from checking his phone with a frown on his face.

"Well if phone calls aren't coming through on my phone, of course I'll be worried! How would you know what Prasad was talking about anyway?" Asad asked curiously, raising an eyebrow naturally. Zoya rolled her eyes and snatched his phone from his hand, scrolling through it urgently.

"You'd put your phone on airplane mode, for reasons that will forever remain unknown. Now that that's sorted, can you just tell me why you've brought me here against my own will?" Zoya demanded to know as she tossed Asad's phone back to him, dodging his question completely. Her eyes then trailed towards the cabin door, weighing her chances of escaping.

Asad's frown deepened as he watched where Zoya's gaze was, and he took a few quick steps towards the door to lock it yet again. Zoya huffed aloud in frustration and crossed her arms across her chest, tapping her foot on the ground impatiently.

"How did my phone end up on airplane mode? I don't even know what airplane mode is actually. Can you show me?" Asad asked innocently, holding his phone out towards Zoya again. He even put on a small smile, just to rile her up even more. Zoya glared at him for a few seconds before grabbing his phone and throwing it across the room, where it came in contact with the wall and broke into pieces.

"HEY! Miss Farooqui WHAT THE HELL!" Asad yelled, as he made a beeline for the pieces of phone now strewn on the ground, picking up each piece as he came by them. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Zoya taking the opportunity to rush to the door, fiddling with the lock as she opened it.

"ZOYA!" Asad roared this time, sick of her irritating behaviour. He dumped all the pieces he'd collected back on the ground as he took a few large steps towards her, stopping her right before she could step out of the cabin.

"Mr Khan, everyone can hear you outside. And stop bossing me around, I'm not some puppet," Zoya retorted angrily, as Asad grabbed her hand and pulled her back in. He rolled his eyes and ignored her, as he worked on the lock again. His large form was blocking the door entirely, but Zoya still tried to work her way in from behind him to try and stop him from locking the door.

"For your kind information, I AM your boss, and I've had enough of your childish behaviour," Asad informed Zoya after he was done locking the door, turning around swiftly and immediately circling an arm around the back of her knees, knocking her off her feet as he swung her body over his shoulder.

"Put me down you big... you big DINOSAUR!" Zoya screamed, pounding his back with her fists. Asad walked across the room casually, paying absolutely no heed to her. He stood in front of a chair patiently, waiting for her to get tired of squirming, before dumping her down on the chair and then wheeling it towards his desk before she could protest.

Zoya fumed internally as she waited for Asad to bring the chair to a halt. Once he did, she immediately shot up from the chair again, poised to run. But before she could get to it, Asad grabbed her by her shoulders and pushed her back down on the chair, and then rested his palms on the handles by the side of the chair, boxing her in with his body.

"This could go on forever, or you could just cooperate with me. And if you still choose not to, I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that you're going to get tired before me. And then you'll have no choice but to listen to me anyway. So what say we cut the crap and just get down to business?" Asad put forward to Zoya very clearly. Zoya slunk her shoulders in defeat, leaning back into the chair.

"What... what kind of business?" Zoya finally asked, purely for the purpose of clarification. Business could mean a lot of things. It could mean actual business, or it could mean something else, the meaning hidden in the word business. And right now, with his face inches from hers, she could only imagine that what he meant by business, may not be what the usual definition of business is.

"I need you to sign some papers," Asad informed her, moving away from the chair after holding her gaze for a while. Zoya felt her heart sink faster than ever before. This was the business he was talking about? She watched him shuffle through the stack of papers for a few seconds, before springing up from her chair again.

"I'm not signing those papers Mr Khan," Zoya said firmly, before making yet another attempt to walk away. She heard Asad let out a loud sigh before turning around and grabbing her wrist, stopping her for the umpteenth time that day.

"You don't even know what the papers are about Zoya," Asad pointed out, the tiredness evident in his voice. Zoya stayed still for a second, watching Asad's eyes cloud over with some emotion she quite couldn't read.

"I know what they're about, I already read them," Zoya admitted, deciding that she didn't want to play this silly game anymore. If he was going to get mad at her for sneaking around and reading the papers without his permission, so be it.

"You're read them? But how?! They're at the bottom of this pile of papers, because Prasad didn't have enough sense not to dump the papers he brought on top of them," Asad complained in the process, as he continued using his free hand to reach the bottom of the pile. Zoya watched Asad pull the papers out, his eyes scanning them quickly before nodding to himself. She bit her lower lip, trying to control the tears that were beginning to brim in her eyes. He really wanted this.
