The evil trio of Farsamina (Farman, samira, and hasina) have supposedly murdered Nikhat ironically by suffocating her with a heart shaped pillow right on the heels of valentines day. You can say that they killed her with love...love for her property and her money. Of course, there are many things unexplained in this track, starting with where and when Nikhat lost her brains, which she had only recently used to escape from the asylum. Perhaps she mislaid the brain cells somewhere, and that is why she returned to the home of the very people who declared her insane, back to the snare, like a hunted animal to its lair.
Nikhat has never been the brightest bulb in the family, but her masochism and navet are really shown to be extreme, It would have been nice if they had explored in detail her background, and what caused her to have such low self esteem and under confidence, but perhaps that might come later.
Now she too is going to be buried like Zoya was in Mangalpur. But unlike Zoya, there is no one like Asad to rescue her. Perhaps, out of this unceremonious burial, Nikhat will rise like the proverbial Phoenix from its ashes, into a new avatar all confident, and poised for revenge. This will be good to see. However, I do not want to see her go negative. I for one am not a fan of extremes as far as characters are concerned. I wonder too if there will be a new love interest introduced for Nikhat, who for a change will be a decent guy, unlike the other men in her life. Hope is not remotely related to the qureshi family.
