Kal ho na Ho is the common movie which everyone loves in my firangi friends...It's a movie which we have seen many times together, end up crying, drooling over srk(and wishing that we find someone like him too) and agreeing to not study or do any assignments and just party and hangout together because who knows... "Kal ho na ho"

apart from that Veer zara, Chak De India, 3 Idiots, ZNMD, Black, Swades too are most liked movies.

And my friends(girls) love srk romantic movies too much, especially thse dreamy romantic songs.

Arre nahin. It wasn't because we were studying Indian culture or history. He has actually been showing KHNH every year when we get to chapters about India to expose students to Bollywood movies. Nothing to do with actually learning about Indian history/culture. I mean it did have to do with India obviously but not in that sense. He just wanted to let the students get an idea about BW movies. That's it. Don't know if I explained it that well Lol 😆😆

But yea I do agree with ya that JA, Swades and others would have been better choices for a class plainly on Indian History. But this one was World History not Indian History. We only learned about India for a couple of weeks and moved on to Chinese history next.

Eh its a mixed bag, but for the most part Kal Ho Na Ho is a popular hit with most folks. It has the desi charm and romantics. But it somehow is more identifiable with more audiences.
